I followed the instructions to the letter.  Alas, in the end, the way it is set up now,

you have to pay for it in order to get the 'free license'.

Yes.  I downloaded it and when I tried to use it  it says,

Even though their website says you can get the full version, just without updates and new features.

To do so, you need to send them an email so they can send you the unlock code.

In order to get them to send you an email, you need to BUY it first.    

It's a catch-22 type thing.

 

As to their free offer...

I also installed it with no problems. Granted they had sent me an email for free download which I later posted here. Thus they already had my email. 😁
