Create a file like jw library

Recommended Posts

I'd like to have a talk outline in pdf format or other format where I could click the scripture on my ipad and have it appear. What would be the easiest way to do that? It doesn't have to be an epub, if possible I'd like to use the branch's pdf outline and modify or add to it.

It appears that eventually the talk outlines will be available in jwpub format. Add personal notes to each point and you have every thing you need.

Personally, my preference would be to copy and paste scriptures from Watchtower Library on a PC directly into an outline. No need to click or tap.
You also might find it easier for the time being to open up two apps side by side on your iPad, one for the outline and the other for the scriptures.

I generally do it like Alex said...copy the scripture text and put the whole thing in my talk.  But I used to make "notes" and put the scripture in the note and then just click on the little note icon to bring it up.  I type my talks in MS Word (notes, scriptures and all).  When I am done, I just print it as a PDF file and all is good.

I primarily use Google Docs and LibreOffice. The Comments feature may be what Vincent is looking for.

You just may need to be more careful of deleting or editing your talk while delivering it... 😅

I don't know if this was brought out, but for about 2 weeks now the memorial outline is on the jw.org login page. I've integratged it in my JW library and it's awesome. I think it's the first outline in .jwpub format.
