Am I missing something here?

This is from Pennsylvania?   Witnesses are going out in service there?

According to the article: State police say a Mifflinburg area man is charged with shooting at the vehicle of several Jehovah’s Witnesses who were “visiting his home” this week.

Ministry not stopped there?  🤷‍♀️

I never noticed if out in service or visiting a study or if call was a witness. Still it begs the question, What were they doing out?, unless this happened back a bit.

Consciousness, that annoying time between naps!

I checked the police blotter and it was the first of the week. The wife was, apparently, an RV, it appeared to her husband that JWs were trying to take her out of the Mennonite Church.

Mennonite Church.

When I was growing up, Mennonites were considered honest and hard working and peaceful. I lived just 30 minutes from KW where there are lots of Mennonites.

Later as I lived in an area with lots of Mennonites and found out they are not so nice after all.

One family disowned a son, not because he was living with a woman and had kids, but because he had a beard and wasn't married, only married men allowed beards.

Heard some cursing in public and smoking. One branch had black horses and another had brown horses, and they went to different churches.

Some drove blacked out cars, others - husband horse and buggy, wife - a Buick and it wasn't Black and son a pickup - also not black.

Did work on end of their barn that storm had taken side off.

We just had a letter read from the branch this Tuesday night that there will be no use of KH, no witnessing other than writing letters, telephone witnessing, and bible studies via whatever choice! The branch will guide us, as they always have, when to return in harmony with local restrictions! So, what were they doing out there?

Voni in NC

The difference between try and triumph is that little "umph"
