I would like to politely inquire as to the welfare and whereabouts of the sister known as Omoyeme (Sandra) who was quite active in this thread, with pictures of her tantalizing and scintillating dishes.

If you can’t stand it anymore then kneel.

2 Chron 6:13b-14 And he knelt down in front of all the congregation of Israel and spread his hands out to the heavens,  14 and he said: “O Jehovah the God of Israel, there is no God like you in the heavens or on the earth….

chimichuri salad

All you need are these 4 simple ingredients plus a batch of chimi to throw this salad together:

1. cooked orzo pasta

Spoiler

Orzo is a small, rice-shaped pasta made from durum wheat, versatile in soups, salads, and main dishes. image.png.eb77ee8193c9c3aa6e6e7a7221b7a288.png

2. halved sweet grape tomatoes

3. fresh ciliegine mozzarella (the little balls)

4. arugula (add last of all)

Quote

Arugula has a distinctive peppery, spicy, and slightly nutty taste, which becomes more bitter as the leaves mature. There are different types, including baby arugula, which is harvested early and has a milder flavor

Scientists have discovered that daydreaming is an important tool 🎨for creativity. It causes a rush 🌊 of activity in a circuit, which connects different parts of the brain and allows the mind to make new associations.

That picture was taken in December, shortly after moving in. My stove is tiny, and the thermostat does not work well- it can fluctuate as much as 85degrees during the same bake which can be disastrous for delicate items and bread. I have been waiting for 4 months for a new oven but have been told it still works so not a priority . Lol. If you don't enjoy cooking it may not be but for ones that do it is a hold your breath and hope it turns out decent. My company loved it! So even though this was not the ones from Saturday night they still were decadent...this time.

We have our Yorkshire pudding before the roast.  We sprinkle sugar on it and pour gravy over and serve with onion slices that have soaked in brown vinegar and water.  My MIL is from Yorkshire and that is what she grew up doing.

Last night I had BulgogiIMG_1665.thumb.jpeg.93773db96e1546770a8a492329fe87ef.jpeg beef in rice paper rolls. Home made.

Yes sir!

Decadent food generally refers to dishes that are often high in calories. This could include foods high in fats, sugars, or luxury ingredients. The term 'decadent' is often associated with desserts like chocolate truffles, cheesecake, or crème brûlée, but can also apply to savory foods like a rich and creamy alfredo pasta, foie gras, or a juicy, well-marbled steak.

Can also mean labor intensive and with an oven that can vary 100 degrees either way during the same bake it is intensive! Heavy whipping cream is always decadent to me. :) and don't forget the organic beef tallow used in the Yorkshire pan that they get poured into.

I will be glad to when I make them again. But the Yorkshire pudding is pictured above in that ridiculously small doll oven.  When I see you in paradise  I will put them on the menu for you. I hope we can have them with roast beef!

These were the hamburger buns I made to take to a sisters backyard cookout. They were HUGE and pillowy and everyone had two hamburgers---one with the brisket /ground chuck blend then they all went back for just a bun! I'm 69 and just discovered I am the Widow of Zarapeth modern day version!
