In a recorded video speech to the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) on Friday, the Argentine pontiff stressed the world is facing unprecedented challenges stemming from the deadly coronavirus pandemic, which “has exposed our human fragility and has called into question our economic, health and social systems”.

 

“The pandemic has shown us that we cannot live without one another, or worse still, pitted against one another,” he said. “This is why, at this critical juncture, it is our duty to rethink the future of our common home and our common project.”

Right! Can you believe the Pope doesn't know? Blind leading the blind. Sad really. So many will follow the blind leaders.

It's surprising how vacuous these leaders are. They trot out and say stuff that means nothing to anyone. I guess they think they are being deep and thoughtful. But they show how ineffective they really are.

This is so true! Anytime I’ve ever heard preachers or Catholics in their sermons or their talks, they make no sense. There is no real education factor to their talking. No teeth in the knowledge ... I never understand how people can listen to that garbage. Same with Pope.. he’s just talking - he doesn’t really have any substance to his UN address.
