So what I am wondering, maybe someone knows the answer to this, if a person continues to test “Negative” but still has a variety of symptoms for many months, then what is left remaining in the person’s body that is producing these symptoms which keeps the  person sick for so long? Is the virus integrating with the DNA of these  “Long Haulers” and that is why the symptoms continue on for months? Or some other reason? :shrugs:

From everything I have read, much of the long haulers have had some damage to many of their organs of which results in symptoms long after the virus is gone.  The latest news I heard is that it may result in erectile dysfunction. You would think that would get the attention of the younger generation that are spreading the virus the most in the USA.

From your nerves

the immune system can’t reach them in there

Sofia, this is interesting, would you mind sharing more about how these latent infections are hiding in “nerves”?

Thanks :)

Hide and seek: Understanding how COVID-19 evades detection in a human cell

Scientists using the Advanced Photon Source have discovered new insights into the ways the SARS-CoV-2 virus camouflages itself inside the human body.

“A lot of researchers are looking at how the virus enters a cell,” said Yogesh Gupta, assistant professor at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and corresponding author on the paper. “We wanted to look at what happens when it is inside the cell. How does the virus survive and evade immune mechanisms?”

To do this, Gupta and his team examined two of the SARS-CoV-2 proteins, known as nonstructural proteins 10 and 16, using the ultrabright X-rays generated by the APS. The work was performed at the Northeastern Collaborative Access Team (NE-CAT) beamline, number 24-ID, which is managed by Cornell University.

That was good research Sister @Mclove (tu)

Here are a couple of quotes from that same article that I found very helpful.

Quote

“The virus uses the classical mechanism of camouflaging and exploiting the host machinery for its own protein synthesis. It goes inside the host cell and its messenger RNAlooks the same as the host messenger RNA.” — Yogesh Gupta, assistant professor, University of Texas Health Center at San Antonio

“They discovered that the SARS-CoV-2 virus uses some unique ways to camouflage its messenger ribonucleic acid (RNA), the single-stranded molecule that carries the genetic code for synthesizing proteins, to mimic those of the host cell. The immune system cannot differentiate it from the body’s own messenger RNA, so it doesn’t fight the virus off.

It is a little like wearing a blue-collared shirt to Best Buy(Electronics store). You may not work there, but people will treat you like you do, in the same way that a host cell’s immune system will treat the virus like it belongs.”

Yes, Br. Neil, I also read that part. I found it very interesting. However I didn't have time to go beyond that. I'm really grateful to you for starting this thread because I have found so much fascinating and frightening stuff about this dastardly Novel coronavirus. The fact the virus has a crown says something about this vicious virus.

(Rev 6:8) And I saw, and look! a pale horse, and the one seated on it had the name Death. And the Grave was closely following him. And authority was given them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with a long sword and with food shortage and with deadly plague and by the wild beasts of the earth.

I really feel sorry for our wonderful sister Sophia who has been working tirelessly to educate me (the clueless one) and others about this very deadly plague. So I thought the least I could do is help by doing some digging to uncover some of the older research being done by the scientists. For the latest discoveries we will still have to wait for Sister Sophia to keep us well informed. What wonderful brothers and sisters we have here in this forum!

Are you speaking about lille ole me, sister? awn!! :crush: Thank you! I´ve joined the forum to learn and to encourage my bros and sis all over the World the best I could.

I try to share the best update news, reliable sources.

There´s a lot to learn about the  "king" of viruses - the SARS coronavirus.

Last thing I saw is that this can mimetic other diseases, tricking the imune system of each person.

If you had malaria, he can trigger malaria

If you had mononucleosis, he can trigger mono again.

Also he can turn the imune system against the person own body. Some Scientists believe it can penetrate the nucleus of some cells... incorporating some of it´s genetic material inside the person´s cells, but its yet to be confirmed.

Boy, we sure need the Kingdom! Let it come! PLEASE!

well, here you have a scientific article about an example. Most of us have lip herpes every now and then.

The herpes establishes a lifelong persistence in the sensory ganglia neurons. Persistence and latency have been demonstrated in human trigeminal, facial, and vestibular ganglia:

I can get dozens of articles... booooring! This is a easy to understand.

About Infectious Mononucleosis

A contagious disease. Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) is the most common cause of infectious mononucleosis, but other viruses can also cause this disease. It is common among teenagers and young adults, especially college students

These symptoms include:

extreme fatigue, fever, sore throat

head and body aches

swollen lymph nodes in the neck and armpits

swollen liver or spleen or both, rash

Enlarged spleen and a swollen liver are less common symptoms. For some people, their liver or spleen or both may remain enlarged even after their fatigue ends.

Most people get better in two to four weeks; however, some people may feel fatigued for several more weeks. Occasionally, the symptoms of infectious mononucleosis can last for six months or longer.

Here are examples on this medical personnel forum of 2 doctors and their symptoms after vaccination..(asterics mine)..similar to Covid long haulers, but from vaccinations..

One thing I found "interesting" on that site was a comment that included "I am not a medical professional but the only way to post on here is to say you are a medical professional."

So, we can't really be sure how many of the comments come from actual "medical personnel".

Additionally, a forum topic that is set up for comments, pro or con, will contain comments that follow suit. On the linked forum most of the comments are about adverse side-effects because that is what the title of the thread is aimed at ... "How concerned are you about adverse events related to the vaccines?"

If the title of the thread was something like "How much safer do feel now that you have been vaccinated?" - I would imagine the comments would full of positive experiences instead of the ones found in the linked thread.

There are some things we know for sure:

  • Covid-19 kills
  • The GB/FDS has taken this pandemic seriously
  • The only "cure" is the Kingdom
  • We should exercise care and show love to one another
  • Neither Covid-19 nor the vaccines have been around long enough for us to truly know any possible "long term" effects from either

As to what medical treatments we personally will or won't use - that is a personal decision and any comments we make should not come across as us trying to convince others that they should adopt out decision.
