The Proboscis Monkey spends the majority of its life very close to water and is an adept swimmer, aided by its partially webbed feet which help it to both paddle in the water and walk on the slippery banks. The Proboscis Monkey is very agile whilst in the trees and is also known to leap into the water from heights of up to 50ft!

Moved from Encouragement for the Worldwide Brotherhood forum, which is a forum for discussing new JW.org releases and sharing theocratic tidbits that you often find reshared again and again on social media or forwarded again and again in mass email chain forwarding, to General Discussion and Everday ChitChat, which is a catch-all forum for any non-theocratic topic that doesn't have a specific forum category already set up for it.

The axolotl – a species of salamander – is critically endangered and native only to Mexico City’s Lake Xochimilco. However, captive populations are thriving in labs around the world, as researchers study the axolotl’s extraordinary ability to regrow whole limbs, bits of brain, and segments of spinal cord when injured.

Such an amazing bird!

Kookaburras can become quite tame around humans and will readily accept scraps of meat. This 'pre-processed' food is still beaten against a perch before swallowing.

Will the wild kookaburras let me pet them? We test it with 5 different kookaburras!

Daydream -

Scientists have discovered that daydreaming is an important tool for creativity. It causes a rush of activity in a circuit, which connects different parts of the brain and allows the mind to make new associations.

One small crack doesn't mean you are broken; it means that you were put to the test and didn't fall apart..
