I work 4 days, but I run my own business.
I can see only pros, as I am able to take Friday group for witnessing.

Benefits? Closer bonds with my brothers and sisters in the congregation

4 day work day, helps my spiritually, less pressure to cram everything into a weekend.
Love it.

I worked for a large auto company, we worked a 4 day work week 10 hours/day but alternated days and shifts ( 2 shifts 3 crews ) it was on a 3 week rotation, days to nights different days  of the week off with a 5 day off weekend every 3 weeks. Some liked it some didn't, it was hard on sleep, we did that for about 10 years, then went back to 8 hrs 5 days with weekend off unless overtime was mandated for Saturday. I would think a 4 day week Mon - Thur would be ideal !

I did 4-12hr shifts with 4 days off, each shift alternated between days and nights. It was 4 12 hour days, 4 days off, 4 12 hour nights, 4 days off.. Some loved it, some didn't..

I prefer a 1-day workweek - but then, I am semi-retired

Most of the people I have known that worked a 4-day week did it with 4 ten-hour days. They preferred it over 5-8's and never wanted to return to the more conventional schedule.
