I could not find any information that supports above statement.

The only info I found is that NATO has a common found management and no single country takes money for themselves, but allocation is done by all NATO nations, and agreement is needed for that to take place.

So if NATO needs reinforce Eastern flank ..then more money will be allocated for that etc etc ...

The only flow of money to USA is by means of selling weapons to NATO, which then are given for free to Ukraine. (But that's a different matter)

Regarding 5% spending : Trump described this as “the Hague defence commitment”, saying it was “a monumental win for the United States, because we were carrying more than our fair share” and “a big win for Europe and for actually western civilisation” because Europe would now be “stepping up to take more responsibility”.https://www.theguardian.com/world/2025/jun/25/trump-praises-nato-states-as-summit-prepares-to-lift-defence-spending-target

until their money runs out.

"Secret" meeting of army generals with Hegseth may or (more probably) may not be connected with general state of affairs in the world. But Nato reportedly informed Russians that the next violation of airspace by Russian aircraft will mean it will be shot down and now Poland is calling on its citizens to urgently leave Belarus as soon as possible due to "rising tensions, military events in the region and repeated arbitrary arrests of Polish citizens".

We seem to be very close to additional escalation.

I don't see it. Russia is really struggling in Ukraine ...big statements from Kremlin little action everywhere else. Ukraine is improving their own weapons manufacturing very efficiently ... Russia is loosing 5000 soldiers a week? .. how on earth this can be sustainable long term? I have opposite view.. all the noise Russia is making now is out of desperation...

According to the most recent reports, Ukraine is now producing over 4 million drones annually, but has the potential to double that number with sufficient funding.

Approximately 800 arms producers are currently operating in Ukraine, with more than 200 of them producing drones.https://www.euronews.com/2025/09/25/made-in-ukraine-and-battlefield-tested-kyiv-to-open-up-global-arms-exports

Much of Trump’s post focused on taunting Putin over his faltering invasion. In characteristically abrasive language, the US leader mocked the Russian army’s lack of progress in Ukraine and suggested Moscow was facing major economic problems due to the spiraling cost of the war. “Russia has been fighting aimlessly for three and a half years a war that should have taken a real military power less than a week to win,” Trump wrote. “This is not distinguishing Russia. In fact, it is very much making them look like a paper tiger.”Trump himself has suggested that his new assessment of the war is based on a detailed understanding of the current military and economic situation in Russia and Ukraine. This version has been endorsed by US Vice President JD Vance, who commented this week that Trump has “grown very confident this war is bad for Russia.”https://www.atlanticcouncil.org/blogs/ukrainealert/trump-called-russia-a-paper-tiger-because-he-believes-putin-is-losing/

Russia has lost around 1,106,430 troops in Ukraine since the beginning of its full-scale invasion on Feb. 24, 2022, the General Staff of Ukraine's Armed Forces reported on Sept. 26.

The number includes 940 casualties that Russian forces suffered over the past day. (yesterday - in one day only.) https://kyivindependent.com/general-staff-russia-has-lost-1-106-430-troops-in-ukraine-since-feb-24-2022/

Russian forces have advanced at an incremental pace. Since November 2022, Russian forces have only captured 5,842 square kilometers of Ukrainian territory,  accounting for about 0.97% of the country's landmass, the DeepState monitoring group said in August.https://kyivindependent.com/trump-says-russia-gained-virtually-no-land-in-ukraine-despite-heavy-costs/

Greg, time will tell. Ukraine's army is currently most hardened in Europe, heavily supported by Nato, and some say that it is stronger by many parameters than all other Nato armies combined, except for US. So it is not so unlogical that Russia is struggling somewhat but still advancing slowly in Ukraine. In other countries mentality is different, armies are much smaller and don't have so much weapons (especially now when a lot has been sent to Ukraine). Believe me, if they would decide to attack Baltic states for example, they would progress much faster than in Ukraine.

Events of last 2 weeks show clearly to me that someone is pushing for escalation - is it Russia or someone else using false flags? I don't know, but someone is clearly doing it.

Putin s invasion was dictated by rumors comming from Russia (fear of losing his power by overthrowing) and rumors comming from Eastern Europe (the NATO approaching its borders namely Ukraine joining NATO).

Putin needs a war with NATO because his power rests on convincing Russians that they are fighting for survival.

His rule depends on permanent escalation, on the constant impression that the state is surrounded, besieged, and therefore united only under his leadership. The rhetoric of existential threat is not a tool among others; it is the foundation of his authority.

This logic is not new. Every dictator who rose to power through aggression was trapped in the same cycle. Napoleon could not stop his campaigns without weakening his legitimacy. Hitler’s Reich collapsed the moment its advance stalled. Even Stalin’s system required permanent mobilization, whether through war, industrial “battles,” or purges. The dictator cannot offer stability, because stability would expose the emptiness of his promises.

For Putin, this means that the end of expansion is the beginning of decline. If Russia is not conquering, it is losing. If it is not escalating, it is being exposed as fragile. The survival of the regime requires external conflict just as much as oxygen is required for breathing. This is why any pause in aggression is temporary, and why peace, for such a ruler, is not an option but a threat.

I believe that Ukraine war will stop only when Putin dies or Jehovah intervenes

Eph. 3:20 “Now to the one who can, according to his power that is operating in us, do more than superabundantly beyond all the things we ask or conceive”

They will never come to any real agreement!  The special worldwide talk explained it very beautifully that 1. Political leaders, 2. Inherited Sin through Adam 3. Satan (behind the scenes). This talk should be an eye and heart opener!  For those who are or who have been wondering why the UN can't being real peace and security to the world.  The speaker from my hall made mention how members of the UN that just met last week, the majority of the nations got up and walked out of the UN.  They were angry and divided, how could they be so unified for peace,  ehen their hatred showed through their actions against another member nation. I recorded this talk and I hope to play it for my neighbors.  The one's who were invited to hear the talk but backed out at last minute.

When they started quoting scripture I was mentally yelling blasphemy!  lol

Oh and according to Bibi, this gets them in the book of life….

Sigh, May it come soon!

Jer 29:11-“For I well know the thoughts I am thinking toward you, declares Jehovah, thoughts of peace, and not calamity, to give you a future and a hope.”

Psalm 56:3-“When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.”
Romans 8:38-”For I am convinced...”
