Not if Jehovah intervenes and puts everything into place including the one thought of giving there power to the UN.

I feel Satan and the demons are just causing chaos trying to do everything against peace and security.

We keep expectation but we should have a balanced life.

Daniel, we alI understand your feelings. We all get discouraged sometimes. But the truth is that no human knows when the end will come. The Governing Body does not know any better than us. They just study Bible prophecies and see how they are being fulfilled by world events, the same as we all do. So whether they use the word "imminent" or "the last of the last days", or whether they have conventions and Memorials planned for several years, that's irrelevant. It doesn't mean anything. It's not a clue as to the time of Armageddon. They will keep planning conventions and buildings and projects and one day the end will come and some of those projects will not take place, or will take place in the new world.

Then why do they keep saying it's imminent? Because that's their job. Not to give us clues for the date of Armageddon, but to remind us to keep awake and serve with a sense of urgency. Christians need a sense of urgency in order to be spiritually strong, if we lose that sense of urgency we quickly become discouraged, lose our zeal and let other things take priority in our life. Whether the end is coming next week or it will take some years yet, we need to be busy in spiritual activities, that's the only way to conquer the world.

But isn't that cheating, to tell us the end is imminent when they really don't know how far it is? No, it's not. First, because world conditions are changing very quickly and the end feels very close. And secondly, because the "end" is not necessarily Armageddon. I could have an accident this afternoon, or a heart attack, or be a victim of violence, and die. Here I am speaking of weeks or months or years, when actually I only have a few hours left to serve Jehovah to the best of my ability. So the wise approach is to keep planning and doing our best for Jehovah with a sense of urgency and soon the end will come and all promises will become a reality. :)

The day is set. It has already been decided.

(Habakkuk 2:3) 3 For the vision is yet for its appointed time,

And it is rushing toward its end, and it will not lie.

Even if it should delay, keep in expectation of it!

For it will without fail come true.

It will not be late!

*** w18 November p. 16 par. 13 Trust in Jehovah and Live! ***

13 Read Habakkuk 2:3. Jehovah surely was pleased with Habakkuk’s decision to wait. The Almighty was fully aware of Habakkuk’s dire circumstances. Therefore, God provided consolation by lovingly and gently assuring the prophet that he would receive answers to his sincere questions. Relief for all his worries would come before too long. God, in effect, told Habakkuk: “Be patient, trust in me. My answer will come despite the apparent delay!” Jehovah reminded him that He had an appointed time for fulfilling His promises. He counseled Habakkuk to wait for the accomplishment of His purposes. Ultimately, the prophet would not be disappointed.

Phillipians 4:8 Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are of serious concern, whatever things are righteous, whatever things are chaste, whatever things are lovable, whatever things are well-spoken-of, whatever things are virtuous, and whatever things are praiseworthy, continue considering these things.

By "later than expected" I mean that our expectation of the "Peace and Security" cry has been adjusted.

This what we used to think about the "Peace and Security" cry:

*** w19 September p. 9 pars. 7-8 Armageddon Is Good News! ***
How will we know when that tribulation is about to begin? The Bible tells us about a most unusual proclamation. It will serve as a signal announcing the great tribulation. 8 That will be the foretold proclamation of “peace and security.”

This is what we now think about the "Peace and Security" cry:
*** w26 February p. 31 par. 2 Questions From Readers ***
This future proclamation has been described as the final signal that the great tribulation is about to begin.

However, after further careful consideration, it seems that there is another possible explanation that we cannot rule out. Perhaps the proclamation of “peace and security” will be made after the destruction of false religion.

So it may come "later than expected" in the sense of the difference now in our understanding of the sequence of events. Of course, our expectation is purely our personal view based on what we know. Nothing Jehovah does is ever "late" from his perspective. But our focus on what will precipitate the start of the great tribulation has been adjusted and the counsel provided in 2025 is ever more valid:

*** w25 November p. 31 par. 7 Questions From Readers ***
We need not look for news reports that governments are slowly becoming more supportive of the United Nations. What we can expect is this: With startling suddenness, Jehovah will put it into the hearts of the nations to hand over their power to the wild beast. When that happens, we will know that the great tribulation is about to begin.

Our understanding now is that the "Peace and Security" cry could occur after this event, "later than (previously) expected".

Most if not all commodities are up in value. I started digging around other information and ultimately found out stocks are over inflated when compared to gold. Current stocks for example are based on a devalued dollar from money printing. But like Tesla is worth $1.43 USD but not even the US government could buy TSLA with its gold reserves. You look at the caps of then Amazon, Apple, Google, all the top 10 or even S&P 500 as a whole. You can only get these valuation with Monopoly money aka fiat currency.

So when you look at the businesses of 1971 and prior where gold was tied to the dollar. Their valuations today wouldn't be in the trillions like they are now.

Bible does not lie. They'll be throwing money in the streets it'll be so worthless.

Proverbs 18:11 The wealth of the rich is his fortified city; It is like a protective wall in his imagination.
Proverbs 27:24 For wealth does not last forever, Nor a crown for all generations.
Proverbs 23:4 & 5 - Do not wear yourself out to gain wealth. Stop and show understanding. When you cast your eyes on it, it is not there, For it will surely sprout wings like an eagle and fly off into the sky.
