Tenho a impressão de que a IA teve muitas alucinações aqui 😉

There are many reasons to expect that the end of this system is very near. An additional point is the fact that the year 2033 will mark 2,000 years since Jesus died for humanity—a historic milestone. When considered alongside various other factors, this raises the question of whether Jesus Christ will remain inactive as Judge at the start of yet another millennium. In a sense, it would be like a "third day," given that to Jehovah, a day is like a thousand years. In the case of his physical death, Jesus rose on the third day; regarding his return to judge the earth, however, we do not know if that will occur at the beginning of the third "day" or sometime during it—that is, a few years later. The truth is that the year 2033 remains an unknown—a period that may yet need to pass before the prophecies are fulfilled.

Featured on our Home Page is the article What Does the Bible Say About Nuclear War?

A few snippets from the article say ~ There is the fear that the use of just one small-scale nuclear weapon will ignite a full-scale nuclear war that will devastate our world.  Will God permit nuclear war?  The Bible does not say. It does say that "fearful sights", or terrifying events , would occur in our day.  Even if man were to use nuclear weapons again, God would not allow the situation to escalate to the point of global annihilation.

In the news today is an article about the Pentagon drafting a new nuclear strategy designed to give the USA more options for using shorter-range nuclear weapons. The theory is to have credible limited-response options short of an all-out strategic exchange.

Our website provides us, and the public, with the comfort of knowing this planet will not be destroyed, even if there is some use of nuclear weapons again!

They had such programs in the 60s

The M28 or M29 Davy Crockett Weapon System was a tactical nuclear recoilless smoothbore gun for firing the M388 nuclear projectile, armed with the W54 nuclear warhead, that was deployed by the United States during the Cold War. It was the first project assigned to the United States Army Weapon Command in Rock Island, Illinois.[3] It remains one of the smallest nuclear weapon systems ever built, incorporating a warhead with yields of 10 to 20 tons of TNT (42 to 84 GJ). It is named after American folk hero, soldier, and congressman Davy Crockett.

They also had a similar program in the 80s

The Special Atomic Demolition Munition (SADM), also known as the XM129 and XM159 Atomic Demolition Charges,[1] and the B54 bomb[2] was a nuclear man-portable atomic demolition munition (ADM) system fielded by the US military from the 1960s to 1980s but never used in combat. It had an estimated yield of up to 1 kiloton of TNT.

Phillipians 4:8 Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are of serious concern, whatever things are righteous, whatever things are chaste, whatever things are lovable, whatever things are well-spoken-of, whatever things are virtuous, and whatever things are praiseworthy, continue considering these things.

Exciting and interesting, but it is good to remember that "no prophecy of Scripture springs from any private interpretation." (2Pet.2:19). All these time references are just a product of human chronological categorization. Our key focus has to be Jehovah's mercy (Is.55:9), and its relationship to why the end of this system has yet to come, 2Pet.3:9.

I really hope so.. Ill be 51 in 2033. Or ill be dead by then. Who knows?.. With all the problems of mankind today, will the earth and humans survive? Violence is increasing. Many are dying of colon cancer and other types of cancer.. AI is replacing jobs. If war will be ongoing then the economy would crash in 2033..

True, we don't know the date but sometimes it's fun to guess as long as no one takes it too seriously. My latest guess is the GT will start in 2029, 2000 years after Jesus baptism and Armageddon will start in 2033, 2000 years after Jesus death. But my guesses are just for fun, it gives us something to look forward to and you can tease me if I'm wrong 😁

no feeling, just dry, boring, hard stats;

chatgpt

If we make the very simplified assumption that such an event occurred exactly once during the past 4,500 years, we get an observed frequency:

λ = 1/4,500 ≈ 0.000222

That is approximately 0.0222% per year, or roughly 1 in 4,500 per year.

Wow, so based on that logic, the last known earthly resurrection was nearly 2000 years ago, so we have to wait another 2000 years before the next resurrection? I don't think so...🤣

I just read yesterday that Isaac Newton predicted that the end would come in the year 2060.  Obviously, he'll at least be close, but he arrived at that date using a couple bits of good thinking, and the rest on incorrect thinking (not that I'd expect any more of someone from the 18th century).  He had the 1260 days, and he did the day for a year factor, but he didn't double the 1260 days, and he didn't start from the end of the Davidic kingship on earth.

I honestly don't think anyone will figure it out using math. Jehovah has a reason for doing things when he does and I don't think we will figure it out.

Some days I go back and forth on the idea that maybe the date is not yet established and that Jehovah's going to pick a moment when the time is right.  Kinda like answering the question how long does it take a tea kettle to boil? The answer is it depends on conditions. It takes between 3 to 5 minutes for a kettle to boil. It depends on how big a kettle? How much water? Is anything in the water? How much heat? You know about when the kettle will boil, but not exact.

On the other hand the Bible says he picked a day. Sounds pretty definite or specific date.

Jehovah in Genesis determined 120 years.  Was that to the day? Did it fudge a little and was really 120 years, 2 month, 2 weeks, 3 days? Was this a 360 day year or 365.25 day year?

He was definite when he gave Noah a week. 7 days. Pretty exact.

Maybe Jehovah did pick exactly 6,073 years or something specific like that. Clearly he did not pick 6050 years.

I know that we currently believe and teach that Jehovah has a set date, however it that is clarified one day and there is reason to believe and teach that there isn't a predetermined date, it would be very easy for me to accept that.

I have a question about the sequence of creation and Jehovah’s rest day. Adam was created first, and then, after an unspecified period of time, Eve was created. As we understand it, Jehovah’s rest day began after Eve was created.

So, how should we understand the chronology? How much time might have passed between the creation of Adam and Eve, when exactly did Jehovah enter his rest, and, if that rest day is 7,000 years long, when would it end? Also, would Satan’s final test after the 1,000 years take place during that rest day or after it ends?

I’d like to know if our publications shed any light on these points.

Funny my wife and I were just having this discussion. We left it at ... All we know for sure is what Jehovah had recorded for us at Rev 7:3

saying: “Do not harm the earth or the sea or the trees, until after we have sealed the slaves of our God in their foreheads.”

When they full number is sealed it will end after that.

I thought the same about the sealing. They all have to be sealed even though some will be with us during tribulation.

Another thing I seem to be thinking about was Noah. He had some specific times given to him. 120 years then 1 week when he entered the ark. Perhaps there will be a time when Jehovah let's us in on a specific time frame.

Im a numbers person and this not knowing is painful.

You're younger than me and, baring unforseen events, I'll be in my late 80s.  It's definitely reasonable to believe I'll still be alive then.
