Considering brother Jackson's remarks in the December broadcast.

Jehovah will put it into the hearts and minds of the government officials to give the UN the okay to do away with religion..

IN SEPTEMBER...

The UN signed PACT FOR THE FUTURE... Fits very nicely into the Government Officials giving the UN the the go ahead..

It will be so interesting to watch this unfold...

Draft resolution submitted by the President of the General Assembly
The Pact for the Future (Snippets):

Action 12. We will plan for the future and strengthen our collective efforts to turbocharge the full implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development by 2030 and beyond.

# 33. The United Nations has an indispensable role in the maintenance of international peace and security. Our efforts to urgently address accumulating and diverse threats to international peace and security, on land, sea, in
the air, in outer space and in cyberspace, should be supported by efforts to rebuild trust, strengthen solidarity, and deepen international cooperation, including through the intensified use of diplomacy. We take note of the New
Agenda for Peace.

Action 39. We will reform the UN Security Council, recognizing the urgent need to make it more representative, inclusive, transparent, efficient, effective, democratic and accountable.

Action 41. We will strengthen the response of the Security Council for the maintenance of international peace and security and its relationship with the General Assembly.

Action 45. We will strengthen the United Nations system.

# 73. We underline the importance of the United Nations system remaining effective, efficient and impactful. We decide to:

(a) Achieve a more agile, responsive and resilient United Nations, in particular by enhancing the Organization’s capabilities in innovation, data analytics, digital transformation, strategic foresight and behavioral science to better support Member States and deliver on its mandates.

—————-

So imagine a newly empowered United Nations. Efficient and competent. Well organized to turn against BTG then later to Jehovah’s people.

Hmmm Jehovah ALWAYS warns his people first. And he has via the AM. That's all I am going to say right now. Except ... WOW!

Imagine the Year 2030, there will be a Live Annual Meeting for everyone thru JW Stream then a delayed telecast with a goal to release a revised version of the Revelation book during the GT. The Chairman and speakers are all the members of the Governing Body. Then the Chairman asks: Will this be the last Annual Meeting???

IF I were going to pop a date in ... it wouldn't be 2030 ... but the scenario has aspects that may play out. I expect whenever it is ... it will be more sudden and fluid than you depict. But that's just me.

BTW... do you have a link to those proposals?

Diddy becoming president. Now some may say that's preposterous but if a reality tv guy with zero relevant credentials and a pretty poor criminal record did it, I mean, is it really that out of the question?

Phillipians 4:8 Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are of serious concern, whatever things are righteous, whatever things are chaste, whatever things are lovable, whatever things are well-spoken-of, whatever things are virtuous, and whatever things are praiseworthy, continue considering these things.

Our expectations have always been ambitious.  Baptized 88 never thinking we would get to 2000.

Brothers in 1914.

1918

Couple more in 25 and 27.

Especially 75

A time you think it will not be... So.. I.m guessing thats code for us to think it will be late to us..... But to Jehovah its generous .

It will not be late.

We did not see the full scope of the times back then.  Today, its different.  More light has been shed on the scriptures, more understanding of both Daniel and Revelation and, all prophecies have been fulfilled through out the years with the exception of one or two.

Today, we can see the times that we are living in as chaotic and tumultous.  Times that we have never seen before.  The end cannot be continuously postponed.  That is not loving of Jehovah.  he will not dangle something desirable in front of us and continue to pull it away.  NO.   He has given the signs in these last days.

The whole association of the brothers can feel it and, see it if you will.  No the end is not far off.  When we least expect Jehovah will do His peculiar thing.   It will take an act of God to end this system.  Like Bro. Jackson said, it will not be gradual it will be instantaneous.  So we do not want to postpone his day as if its still in the distant future.

There is a difference. This documentary showed up in November(?) but I believe it is still available online at some Public TV Networks. https://www.knowledge.ca/program/apocalypse-never-ending-war-1918-1926

To me it strengthened the position the Bible said about the Last Days, that the 1914 war was just the beginning. It officially ended in 1918, but unofficially it never ended and bled into the next war, then the Cold War, Vietnam War, Kosovo, Iraq and on and on.

Imagine being born in 1900? I didn't write this but your post reminded me of it:

Born in 1900, when you are 14, World War I starts, and ends on your 18th birthday with 22 million people killed. Later in the year, a Spanish Flu epidemic hits the planet and runs until you are 20. Fifty million people die from it in those two years. Yes, 50 million.

When you're 29, the Great Depression begins. Unemployment hits 25%, global GDP drops 27%. That runs until you are 33. The country nearly collapses along with the world economy. When you turn 39, World War II starts. You aren’t even over the hill yet.

When you're 41, the United States is fully pulled into WWII. Between your 39th and 45th birthday, 75 million people perish in the war and the Holocaust kills six million. At 52, the Korean War starts and five million perish.

At 64 the Vietnam War begins, and it doesn’t end for many years. Four million people die in that conflict. Approaching your 62nd birthday you have the Cuban Missile Crisis, a tipping point in the Cold War. Life on our planet, as we know it, could well have ended. Great leaders prevented that from happening.

As you turn 75, the Vietnam War finally ends.

This is if you lived in the UNITED STATES. If you lived in FRANCE, JAPAN, RUSSIA, GERMANY, or EGYPT, your hometowns were being occupied and your parents killed before breakfast but you're still expected to show up to munitions factory that day to make poor quality bullets for the war effort that killed all your friends.

Here are the three pictures below with captions that imply that False Religion will have a part in declaring a measure of Peace and Security.  I admit spearheading might be a  bit sharp (like the pun?)... but they are certainly in the mix, or at least they were. Heard nothing to counter that yet.

I *MIGHT* have run with the spearheading idea too fast LOL. OK, thank you for explaining. My bad, for some reason I thought we were talking about the 2024 annual meeting.

I agree totally but Jehovah hasn’t continually postponed the end, his date hasn’t changed and never will… It may seem like it’s delaying to imperfect man but not to Jehovah

You can't walk with God while holding hands with the Devil.

No. It's more recent than the Revelation Climax book. Much more recent.

Wow!! History in a nutshell and lots of pieces more to add. Just too many to record. Russian Revolution (1917) with Communism taking over in the largest countries in the world. The hunt for oil in the Middle East leading to industrial nations raping the countries of their natural resources. Asian Flu in the 50s kills millions, though not on the scale of the Spanish Flu. https://sg.style.yahoo.com/100-years-singaporeans-reacting-flu-031944524.html AIDS, a new epidemic arises in the Congo and spread throughout the world.

Can we put together a full look at the world since 1900 and still be brief?

Some years ago I gave a Revelation talk and part of it focused on who paid the bills for the UN. In the beginning it was the US that was the main underwriter at 75%. Slowly they lowered their portion to encourage others to put their share, to make it a true world-wide organization. However times have changed: "The on-time payment period for UN member contributions ends at the end of February for any given year, but - as our chart with data from the organization shows - many members habitually pay late.

As of June 22, 2022, less than half of the UN's budget of just more than $3 billion had come in, which is the equivalent of 107 countries having paid their dues. In 2021, 113 had paid by the end of May and one year previous to that, 101 - showing that despite many late payments, 2022 is just about an average year in this regard.

A prominent country that has not yet paid is the United States, causing a chunk of $693 million to be still missing from the UN's budget. In 2019, non-payment from the U.S. and others had caused the organization to almost run out of funds. Contributions from Brazil, China, Russia, Indonesia, Mexico and Saudi Arabia, among others, also remain unpaid in 2022." - https://www.statista.com/chart/15628/un-budget-who-has-paid-their-dues/
