Peace and Security, Great Tribulation, Armageddon

Also Nebuchadnezzar's decision to attack Jerusalem in 607 BCE. That decision was made because Jehovah manipulated the results of a casting of lots.

Nebuchadnezzar was at a crossroads. He could either go destroy either Rabbah or Jerusalem. He basically flips a coin and the results were go destroy Jerusalem.

(Ezekiel 21:18-23) 18 And the word of Jehovah again came to me, saying: 19 “As for you, son of man, mark out two ways for the sword of the king of Babylon to come. Both of them will originate from the same land, and a signpost* should be set up where the road branches off to the two cities. 20 You should mark out one way for the sword to come against Rabʹbah+ of the Amʹmon·ites, and the other way against fortified Jerusalem+ in Judah. 21 For the king of Babylon stops to use divination at the fork in the road, where the two roads branch off. He shakes the arrows. He consults his idols;* he examines the liver. 22 The divination in his right hand is pointed toward Jerusalem, to set up battering rams, to give the word for slaughter, to sound the battle cry, to set battering rams against the gates, to throw up a siege rampart, to build a siege wall.+ 23 But it will seem like false divination in the eyes of those* who had sworn oaths to them.+ But he remembers their guilt and will capture them.+

*** w88 9/15 p. 19 par. 15 Jehovah Unsheathes His Sword! ***

15 Ezekiel’s prophecy goes on to show that nobody, including the demons, can turn Jehovah’s “sword” aside. (Read Ezekiel 21:18-22.) Although King Nebuchadnezzar would employ demonistic divination, Jehovah would see to it that the Babylonian ruler marched against Jerusalem, not against the weaker Ammonite capital of Rabbah. From a container Nebuchadnezzar would choose an arrow marked for Jerusalem. He would use teraphim (likely, small idols in human form) and would look for indications in the liver of a slain animal. Despite divination, however, he would take the road to the Judean capital and besiege it. True, Nebuchadnezzar had concluded a covenant with King Zedekiah. But because of their oath-breaking, Zedekiah and other Jews would be “seized even by the hand” and led captive to Babylon.—Ezekiel 21:23, 24.

Technically, they are not KOTS possession  (the ones in Ukraine) it's just a business transaction.

Australia sells rare minerals to US as well. (that's why I can afford donuts! LOL :lol1:)

US sides with Russia in UN Resolution on Ukraine...

where does that fits in Daniel s prophecy chapter 11 ? 🤔

Eph. 3:20 “Now to the one who can, according to his power that is operating in us, do more than superabundantly beyond all the things we ask or conceive”

Does it have/need to?

I see this not. The both, KOTN und KOTS, they are never buddy's, like Germany and France or Great Britain and Germany.

From my long years of personal study there is. But of course I am still waiting for clearer picture and waiting from faithful and discreet slaves....

Agreeing on a resolution is far from reconciliation.

For those not up on their acronyms...

START I (Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty) was a bilateral treaty between the United States and the Soviet Union on the reduction and the limitation of strategic offensive arms. The treaty was signed on 31 July 1991 and entered into force on 5 December 1994.[1] The treaty barred its signatories from deploying more than 6,000 nuclear warheads and a total of 1,600 intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs) and bombers.

Neither will be honest with one another.

So, looking at prophecy in Daniel 2 ... UN/UK last power ... so there can't be a forming of a new world power, so either it's a red herring with a hidden agenda, or we are so close to Jehovah stepping in, if he hasn't already.

Why are these the only options?

Out of all the UN resolutions passed, history shows sometimes the US and Russia/USSR have agreed.  For example:

United Nations Security Council Resolution 2749 was adopted on 28 August 2024. According to the resolution, the Security Council voted to extend the mandate of United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) until 31 August 2025.[1]

All fifteen members of the Council voted unanimously in favor.

United Nations Security Council Resolution 2673 was passed by a unanimous vote on 11 January 2023. In it, the Council expanded the mandate of the United Nations Verification Mission in Colombia and reaffirmed its commitment to the Colombian peace process.[1]

Granted, it does not happen often, but it's not historic or unprecedented either.

I am thinking along those lines.  Dual world power is the last world power so, Jehovah could be stepping in sooner than we think.  Suddenly, instantly.

We will wait on the GB.

I'm going with Red Herring and that Europe will continue to support Ukraine and force the US to do the same. I also think all this tariff talk will turn to nothing or at least be short lived once the cost is felt in the US.

Or better for Ukraine... Make the deal on minerals and let US companies in to mine and watch how fast the US moves in protect it's interests.

First we talk about meat, and now about fish…

Since we are here, I’ll say that that we are in an ocean surrounded by sharks, and Jehovah is about to make fin soup out of them.

What happened with resolutions in the past were minor “fish” so to speak.
But when it comes to Ukraine and siding with this on with rogue states including North Korea is unprecedented. And has never ever happened on that scale.

If all of the nations are going to give their power to the UN that shows there will be a degree of cooperation between the North and South. They engage in a pushing, they sit at tables and lie. Same old.

Imho the north and south don't have to co-operate if it's an act of God. Afterwards the UN will be in control so they have no choice but to follow what they're told.
