Also, does anyone know of someone that has previously attended?

My wife and I were very involved with the food service at the local Assembly Hall when it was being used for MTS, BSSB, BSCC and SKE, so we had the opportunity to get to know a lot of the students, the instructors and their wives, both English and Spanish. The Assembly Hall hasn't been used for SKE since the WEC-Florida was renovated and expanded before the pandemic.

I know a few who have gone through the SKE course. One pioneer sister who used to be in my congregation went there maybe four or five years ago; she was assigned to a foreign-language group in Montreal. And a couple who used to be in the same congregation attended SKE just before the pandemic started, and assigned to another English congregation in Ontario, Canada. (That couple was pictured in the JW Broadcasting of September 2021...)

I do know of a couple from our hall going to SKE but, I'm not releasing their names.

Yea no names lol I was just curious to see if some are being accepting already because we have some friends in the circuit that applied

As a new elder I was disappointed to hear the fully vaccinated and boosted requirement. I cringe at the idea of being asked to handle responsibilities that I missed the training for. Am I wrong in assuming that the congregation would rightly expect all the elders who may handle delicate matters be up to date with their training?

My wife and I had the privilege of attending SKE. We are from the UK and got assigned to Ireland. We have been here for 4 1/2 years now. Wouldn't change a day 🙂

A couple from our congregation are going to Ireland in 2 weeks’ time to attend SKE. We hope (and supplicate) that they come back to us.

We have a couple who have applied to attend (elder-pioneer & pioneer wife)

We already have 3 elders moved on in past year.

If we lost our other brother we would be down to 4 elders.

We only have 4 MS, with one selling his home, so could be only 3 MS.

If anyone wants to help out shrinking body of appointed men, Birmingham (England) you are welcome.

We are stretched and very, very busy

I'm working on shrinking too ... well done! Have you got any secrets to share? (You can't be having snacks at the elders meetings, but that doesn't apply to me).
