Unable to DL 1 Chronicles Audio

I believe we started with Ezra in January of 2016.That was 6 years ago.  So it takes quite a while to get the audio recording done.

Actually, when looking over my JWL Bible contents, I was pleasingly surprised to find that 65 of the 66 books are now with audio - I can easily wait for the last one to be completed and added to JWL.

In reality we started getting the recordings in 2015 with Galatians and Matthew in May, 1 & 2 Thessalonians in June, Philippians in August, Philemon, Ezra, and Mark in September, then Nehemiah in December. Etc........ No, they were not necessarily in any particular order, but I don't recall what the reason was.

So... what happens when they're done with releasing all the Bible books? Do they start over again, rerecording then from the start again? That's actually a possibility, since our Bible has gone through some minor modifications in wording since the original 2013 edition.

 

For example, compare the text of Philippians 2:6 with the recording in Watchtower Online Library or JW Library.

The reason for the switch to Ezra was our congregation Bible reading assignments went to Ezra in January 2016.  Al of the other Bible books that followed need the audio in the months that came after.

I have faced with the same problem when tried to record Bible to blind sister last week.

The trick I have used was Video DownloadHelper addon for Firefox.

It easy downloads any media that started to play on the current webpage.

 Brothers who are used to downloading a large number of audio files through jw.org will be interested in the following announcement:

FEBRUARY 13, 2023

 

ZIP Archives Discontinued

ZIP archives of audio files (mp3.zip format) will no longer be available on jw.org. These files combined the MP3 audio files for an entire publication or magazine issue into a single file. In order to download all of the audio files for a publication, you may now use one of these options:

 

• Download each file separately from jw.org
• Install the JW Library app and use the Download Media option

From now on, the ZIP files will not be provided for audio files. If you wanted to download audio files for 1 Chronicles, you will need to download to, say, each and every audio files for the chapters, or use JW Library to import the media automatically.

 

This may impact brothers who are playing such audio files not through JW Library but using other external media players.
