Earthquakes In One Place After Another...

Recommended Posts

http://www.abc.net.au/news/2018-02-26/powerful-earthquake-hits-papua-new-guinea/9483916

It is not clear yet if there are any casualties, but Don Blakeman from the US Geological Survey said significant damage was likely.

"Any geologic situation like steep valleys or any type of construction, [like] buildings, mines, that sort of thing, since this is a shallow earthquake it shakes all of that a lot more," he told the ABC.

There is a lot of mining activity and coffee plantations there in the forested highlands. The locals build with less sturdy building material, which is better in an earthquake. But the industrialists build with masonry..Landslides are really going to be a problem, as it rains heavily there.

An article explaining why the Mexico earthquake last year happened.  It's more than just plate subduction.  Interesting read, cause unfortunately as we know, it's bound to happen again.

Dutch was showing videos of Kilauea's magma chamber.  The lava level dropped by several hundred feet overnight.  It did the same thing five days before that 9.0 hit off the coast of Japan, back in 2011.

A new lava fissure commenced around 1:00 am HST on Kīlauea Volcano's lower East Rift Zone on Makamae and Leilani Streets in the Leilani Estates subdivision. Spatter was being thrown roughly 30 m (about 100 ft) high at the time of this photo. Copious amounts of sulfur dioxide gas, which should be avoided, is emitted from active fissures. The eruption is dynamic and changes could occur with little warning.

Leilani Estates is full of flowing magma.

Wow, am watching news around the globe and more volcanoes erupting.  There's one on the islands in Asia, I can't remember the name of the place, but the local's have been advised to stay away.  It's blowing smoke/ash 33,000 feet into the air.  isn't this one blowing ash and smoke about that height too?  Is there anyone in this forum that is now fleeing from this area and earthquake in here?   We're praying on your behalf, that you'll find safety physically and spiritually.
