Dutchsinse/Michael Janitch is calling for six 6.0 range quakes in the next seven days.

Only five more to go.   Quake warnings were issued for Kodiak and Anchorage, Alaska.

 

Michael's standing wave comparison sure seems accurate.

 

Two deep quakes hit in the West Pacific region...means more, shallower, larger quakes to come.

 A magnitude 5.9 earthquake shook the California-Nevada border Thursday afternoon, with people reporting feeling a jolt hundreds of miles away, as far as the Bay Area,  according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The earthquake, reported just south of Lake Tahoe, triggered a series of aftershocks with at least one with a 4.6 magnitude, the USGS said. 

Regionally, “this would be the largest one in almost two and a half decades,” according to Graham Kent, director of the University of Nevada, Reno’s seismological lab. “It’s 5.9 and some change — to the average person, it’s a magnitude 6.0.”

Dutchsinse/Michael Janitch has issued a warning for a 5.5 to strike  east of San Diego, and for 4.0 to 4.5 quakes to hit in Colorado, Texas, Oklahoma, swarm in Missouri, and a 4.0 in Vermont, all within the span of a week.

As I call it  =  HOME.   Everyone here agrees it was the biggest shake we've experienced.  There were three distinct aftershocks,  two before the meeting and another around 10:30 or so.
