We are moving to NWscheduler now and I would like to know if it's possible to import this data:

history of field service meeting conductors

history of appointments to public witnessing

history of appontments with other tasks, like audio/video, mics, etc...

Thanks to anyone who knows this. I couldn't find it in the nwsheduler help page relating to importing

Also, there is a way to import the CLAM meeting schedule but only from other programs, not csv?

As for importing the CLAM schedule from other programs, you may find the answer here:

https://nwscheduler.com/how-to/import-export/import-or-export-life-and-ministry-meeting-schedule-clm/

Importing history data I'm not sure of. If you weren't able to find the answer on the NWS website, I would ask your question to the NWS team 👍. Contact them here:

It refers only importing from other programs...

Public Speaker Sharing question: Hopefully someone can assist me with my OCD issue I'm having. Everyone who is sharing in our circuit is in the correctly named Circuit that only has the state and the number (ie OH-99), not the a,b,c sub-sections. The problem is someone, somewhere along the way created a sub-section listing (ie OH-99 B ) and now there is no one in it except for one of the congregations in our correctly labeled circuit, requesting to join the incorrectly labeled circuit. How can we get rid of that incorrectly labeled Circuit so that it doesn't confuse things and gets rid of a superfluous entry? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I messaged the NWS team & pointed out something similar to what you're seeing. I included enough screenshots to clearly identify these incorrectly labeled, blank circuits.. they ended up removing these. In their return message, they asked that we continue to let them know if any additional circuits like these pop up. They do go through & identify some on their own occasionally but we can also help them out.

From my experience, that one congregation is the one that created the Circuit Section. The creator is automatically the first member of a circuit. An administrator in that congregation should be able to delete the circuit he created, but no one else can do so.

I was able to receive a csv template in order to import the CLAM meeting history.

But now I get an error with importing accented leters in names (english names don't have this accents but many languages have it)

for example I have a name, "André", which works perfectly in the program, its like that in the csv but then gives an error when importing because the accented letter is treated has a strange carachter

could it be something to do with the encoding of the csv file?

I asked this to the support desk but its difficult to contact them and have an answer because they´re always pointing out that i should read the help pages first when there is no help on that and some pages are wrong....

Joao, I have successfully imported all kind of data (with all the Spanish accented letters and Romanian weird characters) into NW Scheduler by making sure the .csv files were encoded as UTF-8. If you don't know how to do that, just send me the file by PM or WhatsApp and I will return it to you with the right encoding.

My experience with NW Scheduler's customer support is similar to yours and I have complained of it here too.

Thanks Carlos! I suspected it had something to do with the encoding. Will try that

Greetings my friends, I want to use this medium to thank the developers of this wonderful app because it is a lifesaver. I am from Nigeria and serve as the COBE and secretary in my congregation. That has over 30 publishers the service overseer is an older brother in his 80s I added this detail to help you friends understand the workload involved in organizing things in the congregation. The New world Scheduler app was a gift from Jehovah ever since I started using it the congregation has become better organized and even the publishers using the app are enjoying it so much. Another thing that interest me about you friends is the option for low income countries to pay less in subscription fees. Thank you so much and may Jehovah continue to bless your hard work.

However there is a small challenge. In Nigeria the regulatory authorities are clamping down on transactions that are made in dollars. As we speak we cannot renew our subscription through our bank card or through PayPal. For this reason I want to plead if you can make an exception for Nigerians to register or renew their registration by paying the naira equivalent of subscription fee

To back up my request please see this news article from Nigeria that shows how serious the crack down on dolar transaction is https://www.nairaland.com/8088651/efcc-stops-dollar-transactions-asks

So please if there is any one on the New world Scheduler team here please help the friends in Nigeria so we can continue to use this wonderful tool

Avuhe, we are not the developers of NW Scheduler. We are only users the same as you. :)

You can contact the developers by means of the Help & Support section on their page:

https://nwscheduler.com/support-contact-us/

Select Registration and follow the instructions to contact them.

SCHEDULE – LIFE AND MINISTRY MEETING

  • Can now assign “JW Stream” to all CLM parts.

Can someone explain to me the significance of this and when it will be/can be appropriate/suitable/required?

Does anyone use NWS for the Service Overseer visit?

How do you do that?

There is an option under Congregation Events:

Under Group you can select a specific Fieldservice Group. It will be visible for them and only that group will receive a notification.

When I conducted my first Congregation Bible Study, there was only 30+ people present in a congregation of almost 110.  2 families were out of town, and 60+ were on zoom due to illness and allergies x10.  Even a couple of people doing their student parts had to go home immediately after their part because they were barely standing.   But, if those friends didn't have the strength to make it, it would have been very appropriate to assign JWStream to a part, especially if the students cancelled a day or two before the meeting.

As @coolbrz731 pointed out, it can be applied in the scenario that he had described. However, generally the C/O has to give the OK for this to be allowed.

Our C/O advised our congregation to do this whenever necessary, just to lighten the load for the appointed brothers when we are limited in numbers. We are a congregation of only 50 odd, and have 3 elders (one whom is elderly) and 5 MS's (which 2 of these are also elderly). We mainly JWStream the Treasures part perhaps once a month, or if the brother assigned to this part is not able to do it (either in-person or on Zoom). We never had to do it for any other meeting parts, as we generally will fill in for those who couldn't make it.

Is the feature Documents in NWP time sensitive as our territory map just got kicked out from the app? (still appears in NWS)

Do we have to upload the map again?

I would try updating the "expiry date" first. Push it out as far as up to one year from today's date.

Does it happen to you also that when sending the email invite for NWpublisher the id and pin for the congregation are mixed up?

It has been a while since we set up, but I do not remember any issues. But I do remember editing the template email for 'NW Publisher app Invitation' a little for the visual aspect. At that point I saved my new template and never needed to change/edit the ID and PIN info. All I need to add is the First Name/PIN when I send a new invite to a publisher.

Thanks, I didn't notice I could change the text. I guess that's what I'll do and everything will be fine 👍
