Our standard times for both meetings have been Tuesday and Sunday for as long as I can remember. Only the Sunday meeting ever changes the time, as we share the Hall. It usually just rotates but sometimes it is voted on.

This is the same days for my meetings as well. Still waiting to hear if we will be moving to a new time for Sundays starting in January.

A sister and her anointed husband who were in attendance in person at the AM told me there was a ”new teaching“ (translated from German). This made me think at first hearing it, that it’s literally a new belief vs.a different understanding of something. But maybe that’s used in the German language to describe clarification. So interesting about this discussion. 🤔

I speak English and German (and I viewed the full AM in October). And in both instances, it is very much a 'liberal' translation. It may be how they saw it. It might be how they translated it.

For example:

One could argue that saying there will be a resurrection of those destroyed at Sodom & Gomorrah, or those destroyed at the flood of Noah's day, that this is a 'new teaching'. It is new to previously printed directions. But one could also say it is an adjusted understanding.

The bottom line of all our discussions (and the thread of the AM) - it is Jehovah and Jesus who will decide the outcome. If we print 'No one from the flood will be resurrected', are we telling Jehovah what to do? Never may that happen.

On the other hand, if we are told 'The son of Destruction' will never be resurrected, we know their decision. (And there are many examples on this thread, where we can decern the decision.) We can repeat with confidence that this will be the outcome.

Where there is no biblical decision declared, the answer is: We cannot be dogmatic. We do not know.

But we do trust Jehovah and Jesus will make the right decision. Is that a new idea? I think not. imho
