Here at home we have a Phillips TV with the latest Android TV system. It's a very functional system.

However, I noticed that none of our apps are on the Google Play Store. I would like to use the playlists in our family worship. (I don't like using Chrome to play videos from the jw.org.)

So, is there any way to install JW Library on Android TV systems?

I use an app called "send files to TV" from the play store and I was able to install the APK for JW library on my Android TV.  I'm using an Nvidia Shield Android TV device, but it should work for you as well.

You can download the APK from our website here:  https://www.jw.org/en/online-help/jw-library/android/manually-install-jw-library-android/

I don't think Roku cares what kind of TV it is attached to.  We use Roku on our TVs

No streaming box does, I don’t know what you’re talking about tbh

Is it an official app?
on our website, I only see
- Amazon
- Apple
- Roku https://www.jw.org/en/online-help/jw-broadcasting/

There is a '3rd party' media player that can stream JW videos. It worked on my Android TV, and works on my Amazon FireStick TV.
Look for it on your App Store (not the JW website).

I just use a Dell OptiFlex 3020M computer running Win10 and just use the JWL app to download the videos and such, and it is connected to the TV by the HDMI for audio/visual for us to view.

I got this unit from work when we decommissioned from use being a bit too old to use. However, you pick these up very cheaply if you want a simple device to run a full version of JWL and download and store the videos on the device, without the need to stream all the time. Great also if you don't have any internet connection durring storms etc.

The JWLibrary app can be used directly on some Smart TVs if the JWLibrary has been set up for that platform.  JWLibrary works fine on my ROKU but won't work on my Samsung Smart TV.  Apps have to be set up for different platforms.
