Stage (platform) design for the KH

My Kingdom hall will go to several renovation works that will include decoration of the stage (or platform).

 

I was assigned to work on the stage, but I cannot find ideas of KH back stage photos to get me inspired.

Would you brothers be lovely by posting some pictures of KH stages you have seen?

 

It's difficult to find in the internet.

Most KH's DownUnder have 'sound baffles' at the back of the stage. Here is a pic from the memorial. 

Our Hall is old. The new ones do not have steps at the front any more

In our Kingdom Hall, there are stairs on each side of the stage. I haven't seen any for a long time where the steps run along the entire width of it…

We have sloping access both ends for those with disabilities

It gives good ideas, I will try to investigate were I can find locally this materials.

Our KH is just completing a renovation. In keeping with the LDC rules, I cannot post any pictures during the construction. I can say, our new stage is only one step high with a new ramp on the right side of the KH. Our new stage is much smaller that our old one and has not been fully setup yet since the carpet still needs to be installed.

 

It does have a TV mounted on the wall on each side of the stage and, from what I understand, will no longer have the text displayed since it is displayed on the TV's

In the US the LDC has several standard options for KH renovations. Have you talked to the LDC in your area?

Yes we are in contact with them.

They only gave suggestions regarding the colors, but the design itself of what materials to use they left us to decide.

But of course before starting the works we will ask their approval.

How are most homes in your area decorated? Would that be appropriate for the KH?

There are many videos on JW.org that show the inside of a KH, can you have several brothers and sisters review the videos to get ideas?

As also mentioned by others, steps on one side, wheelchair ramp on the other.
Yeat text is displayed on the monitors, too...
Standardised colour scheme on all halls, down to the colour on the door and door frames.

My current KH is still having the old design,the platform is quite high,someone with disability cannot get on it easily,

But in the newly constructed KH in my hometown,the platform is very low, like very low.

Unfortunately Im not at home now I would have got the photos for you to see.

Actually its we have allot of variety in the area.

Some just have a painted wall, others use tiles in the wall, plaster, there is not a formal restriction as far as I know.

Normally you have the idea, contact the LDC and you get approve or not.

Yes you are right.

Is that the audio/visual control centre on the right, and the literature counter on the left?

 

Is that the webcam for Zoom hanging off the projector on the middle top?

 

Also, do you project the video straight onto the wall?

 

Is the stage planned to be demolished, or are they keeping everything as it is, but dressing it up t omake it more presentable?

This was for the Memorial, so there aren't usually flowers, but it's pretty simple.
