Jehovah's Witnesses Legal developments in Russia

His wife needs Jehovah's holy spirit to comfort her in her grief. As for Aleksandr, no doubt he is now resting in the safest place there is, in Jehovah's memory, and we will see him again very soon.  ❣️ (Job 14:15)

On November 11, 2024, Aleksandr Lubin, convicted in the case of extremism, died at the age of 68. The disabled person was kept in a pre-trial detention center for almost a month and released only after the intervention of the ECHR, it was difficult for him to go to every court hearing, and after the verdict his condition became critical.

Aleksandr Lubin became the 12th Jehovah's Witness in Russia to die while under investigation.

This was the last update about him on JW.org

It breaks my heart when I see news like this.  How evil and wicked Satan is!!  May Jehovah remember this dear brother in the upcoming and near Paradise.

One of Elderly Jehovah's Witnesses Dies in Prison After Being Denied Medical Care for Almost a Year --Valeriy Baylo

On March 20, 2025, 67-year-old Jehovah’s Witness Valeriy Baylo died in a Novorossiysk hospital after nearly a year in pre-trial detention without adequate medical care. Despite suffering from gastrointestinal issues, advanced knee arthrosis, and dental problems, his repeated requests for treatment were ignored. In July 2024, Baylo was sentenced to 2.5 years in prison for peaceful discussions about the Bible via video link, deemed extremist by the court. His death marks the 13th among Jehovah’s Witnesses since the onset of modern persecution in Russia.

The grief Jehovah must have felt...

Let's take comfort, He will not forget His 13 beloved faithful servants nor their torturers. Yet, understand that we must pray for the latter.
