Jehovah's witnesses are pioneering a new branch of medicine, "the Jehovah's witness medicine",

in effect Jehovah's witnesses are standardising the medical practice on a global scale.

That is a tremendous feet to attain brothers, this has imprinted our name as a group in the medical literatures.

It will now become a parameter to use in assessing the competence of a medical Doctor, his competence in the Jehovah's witness medicine.

Well done brothers   we're championing a new era in the global practice of medicine.

May Jehovah be praised.

Dear Lucy, that's very encouraging. Thank you!

I have written the 'short' version...

This week I have started with physiotherapy (1st out of 60) and a period of convalescence.

May our wonderful God, Jehovah bless you, too!

😘❤️

Cara Maria, we hope you get better soon .

many, many hugs 💜

My sister, Maria, you have reminded us of very important parts of our worship, to not only pray but to implicitly trust in our prayers, and our God who listens to them. Such a faith-strengthening experience as that gives you full confidence in the value of both prayers and actions. Your experience reminded me of the words at Hebrews 11:6 where it says, in part: "whoever approaches God must believe that he is and that he becomes the rewarder of those earnestly seeking him".

When once you have felt the power of Jehovah's loving care, you know that you can trust him completely.

May your experience strengthen others, who you encourage through the telling of it.

Dear Brother Mike,

You are right. If we fully trust Jehovah and in our heart we are convinced as Hebrew says, He intervenes on our behalf, in any circumstances.

Lately I've been able to see him at work even when I wasn't expecting it. It was only later that I understood: He was acting for me!

Especially, when you face one challenge after another and you've lost your strength, it's as if he's saying "don't worry, I'm here for you".

Faith goes as far as we totally rely on him, act and then let him do it.

Even and especially when the problem seems insurmountable: that's the moment. But we must do it because we love him, confident that as a true Father he will be there for us!

Many times our Great Creator has given evidence of his love. The most striking was the sacrifice of his only son.

Let us never forget it, especially when we are demoralized and downcast! As long as we are faithful to him, he will always be there for us, in one way or another, as he sees fit!

Lot of blessings from Him and my Christian love to all of you!

Maria

Thank you for sharing this uplifting account! It’s truly heartwarming to see how your faith and trust in Jehovah guided you through such a challenging situation. The way the second neurosurgeon respected your values and even acknowledged the wisdom of Jehovah’s standards is a beautiful reminder of how Jehovah supports His people. His comment on Acts 15:29 was particularly touching—it’s encouraging to see professionals recognize the harmony in following God’s laws.

It’s also remarkable how the anesthesiologist engaged with you, not just as a patient but as someone sharing hope and answers. Your thoughtful approach, leaving publications and showing kindness with chocolates, surely left a positive impression on those you interacted with. It’s a testament to how our conduct can touch hearts and promote understanding.

Jehovah’s care and provision, such as through the HLC, are evident throughout your experience. Your reliance on prayer and steadfast determination to uphold Jehovah’s commands is a powerful example for all of us. Thank you again for sharing this faith-strengthening story!

Thanks for sharing.  I have had a couple of experiences.  One where I failed to stay faithful and one where I kept my faith and things worked out.  I learned a lesson the hard way that staying faithful is better.

What is important is to learn from experience. If this bas been a good lesson, don't worry: Jehovah knows our weaknesses and why we act the way we do. The important thing is to keep relying on him. If we make mistakes, we improve. So we don't give a chance to the enemy who wants to bring us down. With Jehovah's help, as Jesus said, we can climb mountains even if we don't think we're up to it. He makes it possible. Without Him and Jesus, as the apostles said, we wouldn't know where to go, but He shows us the way: we just have to follow it and let ourselves be guided by Him, His wonderful Son via the Scriptures and the Slave.

Everything we need is there.

As far as I'm concerned, I've learned that we have to throw ALL the weight on him; that means we trust him and then if we act according to his will he surprises us in the most unexpected ways.

With love,

Maria

Then I pray and ask Jehovah to do the rest, that is in His hands certain that He will know better than anyone what to do.

I always consider others as potential sheeps...

To me it was a honour to speak about Jehovah and this was THE opportunity to make Him known.

Never be scared!

Thank you!

That is beautiful, Maria!  Thank you for praising Jehovah the way you did. It’s a lovely example for us all!

Jer 29:11-“For I well know the thoughts I am thinking toward you, declares Jehovah, thoughts of peace, and not calamity, to give you a future and a hope.”

Dear Maria I am so glad  that you have come through a very traumatic situation so well, thank you for your story.

I am quite taken back by you experience. Here it why: When my wife, age 77, had a concussion that was not discovered for weeks and then only because she had trouble focusing, we scheduled  surgery in  two weeks when her surgeon said she had rethought the procedure and would no do surgery without the freedom to prescribe blood.

The next afternoon, probably within four hours, I found a surgeon that would operate without blood but in a bloodless medicine program using all the protocols for bloodless surgery. Operation went forward and though there were some extreme bleeding problems it was successful the only problem was a delayed healing due to the complications.

You list yourself as living in Europe. I found a multitude of hospitals throughout Europe that offer bloodless surgery especially designed for the care of JWs. Were these not available in you case? I know we were blessed with the bloodless surgery program we accessed. I was not aware that many western countries were not yet onboard.

Anyhow I love your story and the faith you demonstrated, thank you.

I am not sying I am Superman, I am only saying that nobody has ever seen Superman  and me in a room together.

Englewood Hospital had the courage and foresite to find ways to help us without blood.  There's a YouTube documentary that takes the viewer back in time to when the hospital administrators were brainstorming and how their program slowly developed.

Dear brother,

I'm glad it worked out for your wife. I hope she is doing well.

In my case I saw this famous doctor without being sure of surgery. When he 'confirmed' (he has never been clear), I spoke about blood and that's the story. In my region there are several hospitals respecting but the problem was to find another surgeon without wasting time, as it took at least one year. After the operation, I was said that I should have done it sooner. I delayed too much (because of this famous doctor), but, anyway, it was just in time. As I said, just after all this I could 'see' Jehovah's guiding hand. It is too long and complicated situation to explain here where other things get tangled up.

Thank you for your encouraging words.

Blessings...

Dear All,

Thank you for your encouraging words.

I just would like to point out this: I posted this experience of mine in the sole purpose of explaining how sometimes out of a desperate situation which seems way out can come something unexpected and positive.

It was not to put myself forward and in the intent to brag. It was just an exchange of encouragement.

All the credit goes to our Great Creator and all the steps taken by Him.

Lesson:

When we follow His precious advice and put EVERYTHING in His hands, He is sure to intervene, always for our good.

When I spoke with the anesthesiologist, still under the effects of anesthesia, since He had told me He had children and that He was worried about them, I said, ''You love your children, don't you? So, you wouldn't deprive them of something good? Here, if God gives us as a command to respect His opinion about blood, do you think it is for our harm?' He said, 'No!'

As you love your children, Jehovah instructs us out of love.''

Maria,

V (ery) I (mperfect) P (erson).

I especially benefited from reading your experience and seeing more vividly the connection between Jehovah's view on blood's preciousness and why he wants all wars to cease. (Psalm 46:9) Simple way to put the connection between the two: "Blood is life, so we don’t shed it!"

As an aside, but all along these same lines of thought, I found it interesting that in connection with bloodshed and war: one reason Jehovah did not allow for King David himself to build the temple for Jehovah was so that it would not become associated with war and bloodshed. (1 Chronicles 22:7, 😎 Clearly he loved David, but God wanted his 'House of Worship' to be made in connection with peace, not war / bloodshed.
