Words that would be obsolete in the new system

I don't what made me think of this but I was wondering what words would immediately be discontinued to be used in the new system my number one answer going by the alphabet aspirin what are your thoughts

Not so sure about words. While it is true that Revelation 21:4 says, "death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away" - Is that referring to all pain? Or is it referring to the kind of pain that imperfection, illness and death cause? Does it mean that if you hit your finger with a hammer it won't hurt? It could be that aspirin may still be needed - even a perfect man can sustain an injury ... if not, why were we created with the ability to heal?

Don't know they would be gone rather than just not in active conversation. Murder, abortion, sexual abuse, child abuse, domestic violence, homeless. So many won't come up in conversation any more. Fantastic to dwell on. I like your topic!

Ugly. Ugliness will be a thing of the past. Physical appearance will no longer matter because everyone will be perfect and what is important is the person from within. Racially I would expect most people to retain their own characteristic features albeit tweaked to iron out any imperfections. I'm quite sure most East Asians with slitty eyes. no double eyelids would take kindly to be able to look more like their well endowed Caucasians relatives. Similarly Africans with tightly coiled hair will have the option to have straight flowing locks. I see this to be the case with African ladies (in this SE Asian country) who have resorted to wearing wigs.

Are we absolutely sure that hurricanes will not exist? The weather is a worldwide aspect of this planet. The conditions that become hurricanes in the Atlantic begin off the coast of Africa and travel across to North America. While it is true that a hurricane that makes landfall can do considerable damage, one that stays over the water and does no damage at all can and does happen.

 

Do we know for certain that such a storm that only happens over the water is not some sort of weather correction or natural phenomenon that has a useful purpose? If a cyclonic storm that is confined to one of the oceans and never makes landfall occurs, we would have to call it something - why not keep calling them hurricanes or typhoons?

To be free from perfection means that we won’t see ethnic differences as imperfections or ugliness. Caucasian features and “flowing” hair are considered ideal in this system because of racism and prejudices. But Jehovah is not partial so he sees all of his creation with the amazing diversity of our shapes, textures and features as beautiful. And so will we 🥰

Hurricanes do serve a useful purpose - "Hurricanes can replenish land by bringing in nutrients and sediment, which can help restore barrier islands and promote plant growth inland. They also play a role in balancing temperatures between the equator and the poles, contributing to the overall health of ecosystems.
 

Wildfires are essential to maintaining the health of the forest. I wonder how many disasters we see today are destructive because of human mismanagement or if they shouldn't exist at all. For instance, does Jehovah want us to make buildings to withstand earthquakes or will he prevent earthquakes? Does he want us to put houses on stilts in floodplains or will he prevent the floods? Does he want us to build hurricane-resistant homes or will he prevent hurricanes? What is the balance between weather events and human construction?

 

Are these weather events caused or worsened by human activities? Since most of us here don't believe in the canopy theory anymore, why would weather be substantially different now than when Eden existed? Did Jehovah create an ecosystem that needs to constantly be adjusted from the heavens or did he create it to be self-sustaining and under the dominion of humans?
