The Passing of Susan Lett

Recommended Posts

  • Araujo JW changed the title to Death of Sister Susan Lett

Does anyone know if she is a part of the 144,00? I know, it makes no difference, ultimately, but I find it sort of interesting to think about.
Yes, I have went to Jehovah, and asked him to comfort brother Lett. It’s a huge loss for him, no matter how you look at it.

I want to age without sharp corners, and have an obedient heart!

As far as I know, she's one of the other sheep.

I know what you mean.   The only married and anointed couple I am aware of was Martin and Gertrud Poetzinger.

However, there must have been lots of married and anointed couples pre-1935.

Yes, sis so will I, Bro. Lett is my favorite future angel, and I hope he is okay. I don't know whether she is of the anointed or not, but if not, she won't be able to see him, but he will always be able to keep an eye 👁️on her, just saying.

We announced this morning that our beloved sister Susan Lett has fallen asleep in death. She had 58 years of full-time service, serving with her husband, Steve Lett, whom she had known since she was a teenager. They served together in various forms of full-time service for 54 years: as regular pioneers, special pioneers, circuit work, and Bethel service.

No matter how steadfast you are in the truth, we all need comfort to cope with the pain caused by our final enemy, Death.

Brother Lett has been encouraging our worldwide family for decades. We know he will continue to work hard for us during our mourning.

Now it is our turn to encourage him through prayers to our Father, "the God of all comfort."

All I can say is AGAPE

My grandparents were married and anointed. They had a 20 year age gap. Last one died in the 90’s.

Jer 29:11-“For I well know the thoughts I am thinking toward you, declares Jehovah, thoughts of peace, and not calamity, to give you a future and a hope.”

Psalm 56:3-“When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.”
Romans 8:38-”For I am convinced...”

When seeing some of those dear older anointed brothers and sisters they look fragile and weak, but it is so awesome to imagine how they change instantly in the moment of death into very powerful spiritual beings. What an incredible change and undescribable experience for them!

How wonderful it is to cherish these memories. Each photo is a time machine.

I couldn't help but notice the brothers Charles Leathco and Karl Rietz in the background. 😊

Just saying: there is no reason to conclude brother Lett will become an angel.

I am not sying I am Superman, I am only saying that nobody has ever seen Superman  and me in a room together.

He will be higher than the angels :D

Immortals, Seraphs, Cherubs and Angels.  We don't know a lot about the heavenly structure. But Jesus and his brothers are at the top (under Jehovah) but rule over all heavenly and earthly things.

Rev 22:5..."God will shed light upon them, and they will rule as kings forever and ever."

1 Cor 6:3 too.
Do you not know that we will judge angels?

We have only a small amount of knowledge about those who are heirs with Jesus Christ, but we know the three roles that scripture identifies and they are all essential in bringing the human creation back to perfection, for the final test. They are Kings, they are priests and they are judges. Whether they all carry out all of these roles, we know that as 144,000 along with Christ Jesus, they are a perfect and permanent solution to make everything 'very good' when Jehovah bring the final judgement test.
