:eat: Waffles or Pancakes?

Recommended Posts

I would have used a poll, but .... (not an option in this forum)

What do you prefer - Waffles or Pancakes?

I have four daughters and sometimes we decide to have waffles or pancakes for supper. Some of my girls rather the waffles while other prefer pancakes.

Just wondering what others like ...

BTW - It seems odd that a forum for Food & Drink cannot use the :chef: for the Topic ...

My girls love pancakes with maple syrup.

Or crumpets. Haven't really done Waffles.

I will give them ago &see what the critics say. Lol.

John,

I personally am a fan of French toast. This is my favorite way of serving pancakes, waffles or French toast:

Melted butter on top, then either whip cream or yogurt (my favorite) then all sorts of berries (we live in berry country here), sliced bananas, kiwi, caramatized pecans with a drizzle of maple syrup to top it off.

Oooolala

Polls have now been added to this Forum, as well as several others that had been overlooked.

Too tall. It would stretch the subject line on the list page :)

And Waffles

And great! I just gained 2 pounds thinking about them :P

For dinner once in a while we like:

Belgian Waffles with Strawberry topping.

Pancakes loaded with blueberries with maple syrup.

Banana bread french toast with maple syrup.

Black cherry cobbler with eggs and bacon/sausage.
