Next - laws against 2 people having sex BEFORE the age of 16 will be consider an infringement on ones' rights. The question will be - why do the states have the right to regulate sex between 2 consenting individuals? Then even pedophilia will be legal.

 

They have already started this with questioning laws about two 16 year old "lovers" - and then one turns 18 and ends up arrested as a "sexual predator".

Jerry, I've stared speculating on that one myself.  The laws really are illogical and nonsense.  She's 15, he's 18.  The 3 year difference is OK by law.  If he's 19, though, BAM!  He's a sexual predator and labeled for life.  Like that 1 year really makes a difference? 

 

I reasoned with my stepson that Bible principles are so much easier.  What is the age of sexual consent in the Bible?  There isn't one.  The Bible has 1 simple guideline (well, 2):  No sexual contact unless it's with a marriage mate, and it's best to not marry until past the bloom of youth.  That's it.  Do you feel you're old enough to be married?  No?  Are you married?  No?  Then no sex for you.  Plain and simple.

 

Man makes his laws much more complex.
