Another one. Can't wait! Besides, are we going to see more paradise books in the future?

The reality is there is a lot of corruption in finance. I knew this would happen after an analysis of the foreign exchange market. Since the pandemic, there have been a lot of manipulations and crypto would be a target. I mentioned this a while back on a thread I think. I have been with cryptocurrency for some years. I lost trust in it when they introduced the futures contract. Before that, crypto used spot trading for trading contracts. Spot trading typically means you can buy and invest in it by trading it. With the majority of people buying, you can only expect its value to go up coupled with a sizeable amount of crypto coins released every period. Back then, you can not trade sell positions by shorting. You can only trade by buying it. Although, you can sell your coins to another person. With futures, however, the opportunity to short it now exists. This opens crypto to a lot of vulnerabilities meaning crypto is at the mercy of big financial banks, or who knows, the central banks. What happens when the feds have major banks decide to short (or trade it by selling) BTC with billions of dollars, wouldn't it instantly go to zero? That's what a decentralized gets it, no regulation or protection available in the financial markets. I have hence decided it is too much of a risk and not my cup of tea. Also, with the inflation happening, I expect something worse to come. How does inflation affect it? Risk on/risk off. This means that pairs directly traded with USD are targeted. Dollar goes up, they come down. This wouldn't happen if they stayed with spot trading because you only bought. But with futures, BTC would be dumping hard because traders will be shorting it, and who knows, financial banks. Lastly, I just don't trust my investment in the hands of an unknown figure that hasn't been found. I don't have a problem with the technology of blockchain. It looks too good and brilliant to be tossed away, but I don't think it is what it should be yet. And yes, I'm not a financial advisor 🙂

This is my plight. I haven't had covid at all, and I feel healthy. I am unsure if taking the vaccine is a good idea... I am always very cautious when it comes to vaccines. I don't believe in any conspiracy theories, but my body just doesn't react to vaccines well.

Here in my country, there is a devastating flood that is destroying homes and properties. It has spread to more than four states. Food supply is being impeded. Agriculture is being destroyed. I have no explanation for this as it has never happened like this before.

I don't know what the OP means. But I did watch a Netflix documentary on minimalistic living and it doesn't necessarily mean living a poor lifestyle. It just broadens the perspective that we can live with less. Many of the things we own are necessary, and the burden of owning many things could make us feel empty. Like sister hope and a few mentioned, it really depends on an individual's needs and the size of a family. The takeaway from the movie is living with less contributes to a stress-free life. And there is a substantial amount of truth in it. So, I have decided that the latest Tesla plaid s, a sufficient amount of clean outfit, a cinema-sized TV for a good viewing experience, and a couple of other everyday stuff is okay for me in my goal of becoming a minimalist 🙂

I have always had the conviction that the pandemic will prepare us for the future when we will not have the opportunity to meet physically. Perhaps, the situation in Russia and Ukraine could also be a preparation for the future when the GT comes. Who knows? It's all happening fast at the same time and simultaneously.

I agree 100%. I used to be a trader. I spent a lot of time studying different market charts, learning all about the resistance and the support in crypto, and when the market is likely to move upwards so you make money. I also spent lots of my time, learning about the crypto market and the Forex market. It can be exciting, but not when money is involved. Here's one or two things I have learned from trading: 1. It's extremely volatile and can be very unpredictable. This means there are manipulations in the market, so the probability of losing money is certain. 2. It can take a huge chunk of your time. Sometimes, I spend many days trying to predict the market. Many days I am successful; other days, I am sad and depressed. This can easily overwhelm important activities. 3. It is very addictive. The more you get into the game, the harder it is to get out. 4. The money is never too enough. It takes a great level of self-control which I think is unattainable to stop thinking about how to increase your money. Do I think it's bad to save your money in crypto? Not at all. But you need to be careful. It's best to limit your expectations and buy reputable coins like bitcoin. And remember, don't expect too much from it.

True. We will all have our assignments. But when I mean a Kingdom Service Corp, I am thinking LDC albeit on a larger scale. For example, a large stadium needs to be built but there are few people to build, the Kingdom Service Corp can be deployed to the region to help accelerate the assignment. Nothing is set in stone; it's just purely speculation.

In my opinion, I believe we will build kingdom worldwide farms in every community. This will help every individual living in the community to perform communal work on specific days. We will also have our backyard farms. The community farms, on the other hand, will be used on a larger scale. I hope we get to build cities that have several functions and purposes. I also hope we have centers for several departments. And then, I hope we have the kingdom service corps. They will be the military of our day, except that they are mainly kingdom workers skillfully trained to accelerate any work faster.

The stage was set for the 3-body problem indeed." It doesn't seem to me that evolved life or chance — like the so-called scientists claim — follows such an orderly sequence, as shown above. It simply is absurd.

Personally, I feel the idea is to not compare ourselves to others but ourselves. Yes, Blakes was a good runner, and he could likewise boast of being a good runner. But Usain was a better runner. The lesson IMHO is to not compare our abilities with others but ourselves. We could boast of doing our best like Blakes, but perhaps, we could still do better like Usain if we exert ourselves a bit more. Hence, are we doing our best?

Jehovah and Jesus enjoy a special kind of companionship for eons, and they are still found of each other. The Bible describes them as "one". Hence, in the new world we could enjoy our partner's companionship for an endless period with joy every day. In fact, we would be fond of each other. I think the premise of your argument that "a lot more sisters would be single now if money didn't exist" is wrong. Having a companion is a beautiful thing, and while I agree that the idea of "love" has been thwarted in this system of things. However, many Christian couples still enjoy the companion of their partners and would never trade anything for it.

Okay, this is incorrect. A lot of people don't know about Africa because most of the media is dominated by western media and Africa is portrayed more like an isolated place. The Arab world consists of 22 countries... I hear many people call themselves Arabs. Why isn't it really a problem. I love specificity too. If someone is knowledgeable to ask where in Africa, then it's great to say your nationality. Schooling someone about Africa everytime isn't something most people would do. That to me is dismissive, and a reason many people are clueless isn't because Africans are dismissive of their countries. C'mon, that sounds like an insensitive thing to say.

When I mean most of Africa shares the same weather conditions, I mean its temperatures. It's mostly hot. I must commend you for that. But like Brandon also said, many people don't get it. I know many people who tell me they are Americans... I quickly understand it to be USA. On a first time meeting with someone, I would tell them I am African. But as the conversation go on, I would reveal my nationality. This tends to clear the air. Why is this so? Many countries in Africa aren't really known worldwide. How many times have you heard Burkina Faso?

True, Africa is a big continent but there are subtle nuances in many of its cultures and way of life. Unlike other continents, most of Africa shares the same weather condition. It is also true that Africa is a big continent, but most its inhabitants are also black. So, it's gotten fairly common for someone who lives in Uganda and South Africa to call themselves Africans. Take a look at Asia. It may look odd if someone from the middle east calls himself Asian. Asians are generally characterized as Chinese. The whole continent has a variety of lifestyles and different cultures. There is little similarity. This doesn't justify why Africans do that, but rather a lazy excuse why we do that. I think it's common with many Europeans too.

I once had a voice call with someone and I told him where I come from — Africa. Next thing he says, "Oh cool, that's one nice country." I didn't know what to say, lol. I grew up learning about geographical locations around the globe since childhood. And I think it's important to travel, and if you can't, at least venture into the internet to learn more about the world beyond your area.
