  1. Brothers, I have seen this option, but I am not familiar with the purpose or how to get started using it. Is there a quick tutorial for those of us who may require a simpler version? ☺️ Thanks a bunch! Voni in IOWA
  2. Sounds inevitable when things on your body change places! Somehow, they tend to go south instead of north.
  3. Hello my brothers, I am having a difficult time finding "transcripts" to the videos you all so lovingly make available. (This time JWB 2025 in particular.) Granted, it may not be available yet, but I just watched it, TEARFULLY, and want the printed version by my side somewhat like a security blanket. I do not want to be pesty but I relied on them a lot. We all at one point, get a little "older" if we make another day, week, month and year. Health issues along with growing a little older, can and does slow some of us down! Carlos....where are you? You've pulled me out many times and certainly I'm most appreciative for you along with all the other brothers who can spare a moment of help for us 74 year olds. 😊 I know some of you haven't had an opportunity, YET, to help us older ones, but I'm not giving up on y'all! I'm at the point, with everything else going on, that would benefit greatly from a detailed synopsis of the steps to obtain the transcripts. I hope I'm not asking too much of my family, as we are all busier than ever in these last days. Thank you brothers so much,❣️ Voni in IOWA
  4. Awesome, I'm happy to share! [emoji122]
  5. Love this analogy: You are holding a cup of coffee when someone comes along and bumps into you or shakes your arm, making you spill your coffee everywhere. Why did you spill the coffee? "Because someone bumped into me!!!" Wrong answer. You spilled the coffee because there was coffee in your cup. Had there been tea in the cup, you would have spilled tea. Whatever is inside the cup is what will spill out. Therefore, when life comes along and shakes you (which WILL happen), whatever is inside you will come out. It's easy to fake it, until you get rattled. So we have to ask ourselves... “what's in my cup?" When life gets tough, what spills over? Joy, gratitude, peace and humility? Anger, bitterness, victim mentality and quitting tendencies? Life provids the cup, YOU choose how to fill it. Today let's work towards filling our cups with gratitude, forgiveness, joy, words of affrmation, resilience, positivity; and kindness, gentleness and love for others. Author Unknown. Let us all try to keep our cups filled with Galatians 5:22, 23 The Fruits of God's Spirit Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I am old, and don’t remember the entire joke, but this caption reminded me of the old lady who offered strangers (perhaps on the bus) peanuts. It turns out they were plain peanuts, but should have been chocolate covered peanuts. She had no teeth (poor girl), so she would eat the chocolate off the peanuts and then offer the rest to people she met! Ok so, if anyone knows the entire joke, I would love to hear it.
  7. I didn’t realize this particular section was here, therefore I was not aware this dear brother had passed! For sure, he has helped me many times. My very belated condolences to his spiritual family as well as his natural family! Oh Jehovah, No more crying, No more tears. Agape’ Love Sis Yvonne in IOWA

  11. Brother do you know if Medicare will pay for them or are they completely free. I received my Medicare information last week and noticed that someone charged Medicare $98.00 for "free covid19 tests" that I never ordered or received. So I related to this "company" that I never ordered any Covid19 tests because they were being given away by the health department in my city at the time. So after looking into the supposed situation, he said....Oh, I see what may have happened, we don't have your full address so you probably didn't receive them. I said "Well! I'm in the middle of writing to Medicare to bring this to their attention as it appears to be fraudulent. So he asked me to give him time to locate the information and he'll get back to me. I told him sure, I will not continue the letter until you get back to me! I received an email about 20 mins or so later, and asked "How would you like me to handle this? I suggested "reimbursing" Medicare. He said he would do that! Voni in Iowa
  12. Thx but no, if I go through Tapatalk, I can no longer sign into jwtalk. So what I decided to do was use Google Chrome as opposed to Google. I was then able to extract it! Thank you so much Bro William, [emoji4] Voni in Des Des Moines Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  13. Brothers, I cannot access the transcript! Voni in Des Moines
  14. Brothers, I am trying to change my login name to my email address as instructed, but the system doesn't give me that option.

I may have missed a few memos to get this taken care of! 😉

You don't have to change your Display Name. It can stay as walkr2 as it has always has been.

But the software has allowed members to login with their Display Name and Password. So you may have been logging in using walkr2 and your password.

But in the near future, you will have to use your email@address and password instead.

I simply recommended that if your email address at JWTalk is an address you no longer use, you should change it to an address that you currently use. This way you can use the "Forgot Password" tool if you ever got locked out.

But if your email address is up to date, you don't need to change anything. You can keep your current Username, Email Address, and Password.

  15. Yes, I agree with you! Everyone is not in the same “boat” when it comes to how they’re handling this virus situation. Jehovah, I’m sure, understands each person’s situation. He doesn’t condemn us for it and neither should anyone else. It’s not that you’re missing out on the same information everyone else is getting, you’re just getting it a different way. Hang in there because it’s almost over and we can happily be together once and for all. That’s what I’m doing! With Agape love, Voni in Des Moines
  16. Carlos But GB updates are prepared just a few days in advance, so they can discuss the current situation and give specific advice. I hope we keep receiving them for as long as possible. Carlos, I love the communication straight from the “horse’s” mouth. It does show that they are very much concerned and love keeping the Congregations updated consistently. I, too, hope they continue! 17. Thx brother, I appreciate your help! For the moment so as not to be pesky, I’ll just wait for a reply! I saw that you mentioned they didn’t have a bunch of moderators. I’ll be patient. [emoji4] Thx again
  18. I did, tried to sign in to use the Reg code, neither email I use worked. I sent a "contact me" email! Waiting for a reply at this time. Thank you
  19. I'm glad, but not really glad, that someone else spoke up about not being able to access Meekspace. I was with them for a number of years, but I assume they've become exclusive to only a very few at this time! Sister if you can get in, please let me know. I've been trying for about 2 years since they changed to the new site, to no avail! (I wonder if it just sisters that are excluded!) 👀 Thanks, Voni in NC
  20. Hey Brother Eric, I don't have the link, would love the link, will pm you! Thank you, Voni in NC

  22. I attended 3 funeral services this month.....3 screens and some on the main screen of Zoom participants had their camera’s off. I personally felt that in that type situation, it was totally disrespectful to the occasion and the family! Just imho. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  23. If she’s old/Medicare eligible, her Medicare covers any cost for vaccines and boosters! i just read that from my Medicare online notice! Voni in NC
