Am enjoying the convention.. 

I have been blessed by Jehovah.  The announcement has been made that I got appointed a ministerial servant tonight.

Getting ready for the memorial... Starts in less than 2 hours at my place. Wish you all a wonderful memorial with many guests, "future brothers and sisters"! 🥰

In one hour and ten minutes our Memorial commences! Some unbelieving family members are coming! What a blessing! 

So as many of you know I have a Leaky heart Valve saw the doc he was hoping I would have had the Surgery by now so he going to make a few call to see what the problem is oh i all got to witnesses to my bus driver and latter witnesses to a school friend 

We are back to our wonderful Wednesday, after service, lunches. For me, they have changed a bit. I’m soon to be 79. The tribe brings us lunch, and dinner, on Wednesday’s. 
So I, no cook, on Wednesdays. 
I used to bring a main dish. Well, now, I bring myself, and something interesting to drink. Yesterday, I brought milk(whole) and Aztec Hot Chocolate. 
One of our dear sisters came in, spied the hot chocolate, and, put it in her coffee! The hot scale. She registered it a 7. It’s actually a 3.
We have such fun!

This morning, I dreamt about Paradise, it was extraordinary. I cried with happiness in the end when I finally could connect to the website that had a huge banner "Welcome in Paradise". My tears woke me up

Is it because we are young and foolish that we think that

Will you sit at the piano?
 
One evening, a mother took her son to a concert of a famous pianist because he, too, was learning to play the piano.
 
After they took their seats, the mother saw an acquaintance of hers a few rows away and went over to say hello. The little boy decided to use the opportunity to explore the mysteries of the concert hall on his own and slipped through the door marked "No Entry" unnoticed.
 
When the lights in the hall had already gone out and the concert was about to begin, his mother returned to her seat and saw to her horror that her little boy had disappeared somewhere.  But at that moment the curtain opened and the spotlight fell on the imposing piano and on the little boy who was sitting behind it trying to play a children's song.
 
At that moment the pianist came onstage, walked quickly to the piano, and whispered to the boy: "Don't stop, keep playing!" The pianist leaned over the boy and played the bass accompaniment with his left hand. Then with his right hand he complemented the playing with a beautiful obligate. So this master and the little boy turned an awkward situation into a beautiful performance. The audience sat as mesmerized as if spellbound.
 
Isn't the same thing happening to us and Jehovah? What we do ourselves is insignificant, though we try to do something in the best possible way, but it often does not compare at all with a harmonic and harmonious melody. However, the hand of the Master can make our work pleasing to the ear.  So the next time you're going to do something great, listen well.  Then you can hear the Master's voice whispering to you, "Don't stop, keep playing!"  And you will feel Him leaning lovingly over you.
 
Let us realize that His strong hands can turn our unsure attempts into a masterpiece. Don't forget that Jehovah does not call those who are able, but He makes those who are called able, as emphasized in 2 Corinthians 3:5, "Not that we of ourselves are adequately qualified to consider that anything comes from us, but our being adequately qualified comes from God".
 
So, will you sit at the piano?

Too much stress and drama this time of year... Really starting to dislike Winter again...

Sometimes it's ironic and even funny that among this pandemic crisis, no one really cares about how many people die from car accidents, diseases and natural disasters and poverty while they do everything they can including lock-downs, to stop the spread.
 
Sure, there's not much that can be done about it to make a true difference. But it doesn't mean it has to stay that way.
 
It's funnier that no one thinks about sin and death, our greatest enemies and how they will ultimately keep them from being delivered during GT.
 
 

Thoughts that can help in the fight against bad habits and addiction.

1. A parasite lives in your head. It feeds on the pieces of your brain to which you send the fulfillment of your addiction. To get rid of the parasite, there is only one way: starve it to death. If you want him to die, just stop giving him food. With hunger the parasite will rebel and get on your nerves. But you remember that it takes time for it to die, be patient and relax. Just don't feed it.

2. Pray to Jehovah regularly. You don't need to make every prayer long or in a pattern. The main thing is to remember Jehovah, that he protects you. And give thanks to him. This will develop in you a prayerful mindset and you will feel how much your friendship with Jehovah will grow. You can think of it as a pill for the parasite in your head.

3. Analyze your whole day. At what moments might you see things related to your addiction? For example, your co-workers or acquaintances may be smoking, drinking. Pornography pops up at work. Watching movies or playing games where these things are considered something normal. Remember, these are not little things! If you want Jehovah to bless you, you need to be careful, like Gideon's warriors, gulping water with their hand.

4. Remember the reward - eternal life. Indulging in addiction is like trading Jehovah's priceless gift for something empty. Like Esau did, trading the blessings from Jehovah for a bowl of chowder, for the satisfaction of hunger. The eternal for the minute. Make the right investments-not short-term ones that bring only illusions, but eternal ones that bring real joy and satisfaction.

5. Whose side do you want to be on? Bad habits are the work of Satan. It is his mockery of the image and likeness of Jehovah. The Creator has put qualities in us such as love, kindness, and wisdom. And gave us free will! But by going along with addiction, man goes against those qualities, abuses free will, and along with Satan and his supporters, laughs at Jehovah's gift. Choose who you want to be for.

TODAY we are celebrating our 66th wedding anniversary.
He has been a faithful Brother for 50 years, a MS who pioneered many years. He is now in hospice in a nursing home so I don't know if there will be a 67th. 😢
So please celebrate this day with us....💕
