Victoria, I have several wild brown bunnies that live in the woods by my house and they LOVE dandelion's. As a matter of fact I asked my nursery which bunny food I could get to tempt them with but she said if I had dandelions my bunny food would would be wasted because they prefer the weed to the food. (they're so cute, and not too wild either, I can get pretty close to them)

And yes dandelion wine is incredible, grandma used to make it.

Okay, let's keep it clean. Anything goes, whether personal pics or funny pics you come across. You can upload one attachment per post through the message editor. Keep them small, 600x600 or less. Anything larger will get reduced to 600x600 for display in the posts but that just makes the software work harder. You can also link to a picture on the internet by using bbcode image tags or using the img.gif button in the message editor. I'll start... with a picture of my dog, Cookie...

Your dog is beautiful. My little dog has dark purple eyes eyes which always photograph bright turquoise. I understand (have studied up on dog's eye structure) how it is that many dog's eyes photograph as different colors. What color are Cookie's eyes when not on a photo-op?

He or She, sun bathes in my back yard. It is still a baby, only 3-4 feet. It will stick around awhile and when it gets too hot go over to my brothers pond, which is deeper. Then it will mosey over to the river behind our homes.

We NEVER feed them.

5771=108-casa%2025.jpg This part of the new assembly hall being built in Casa Grande Arizona USA. I thought all you friends would like to see it. It will be complete next summer. Truly a blessing to have a place to gather together in worship to Jehovah. (Heb. 10:24-25)

Thanks John for sharing. I really like this picture.

But it looks small! How many will it seat when it's done?

I was thinking the same thing. I could see that being a Kingdom Hall. It looks about the size of one. Assembly halls usually need to seat like 10 congregations at a time, plus have a lunch room and business offices. - Bob

This is what the Casa Grande, AZ Assembly Hall looks like today.I think what was previously posted is now the home of the brother who is the grounds keeper.   :)  post-5181-0-84246700-1430547817_thumb.jp

They (BTG) don't see  coming sudden destruction ...  sitting like a queen (for now)

No wonder that the "Queen" will be shocked when it happens...

I was able to get a pic of the sign and the way it looks outside on Wednesday morning. Still construction site but it's coming together. Tomorrow is tear down day. Everything but the odd bits and pieces is done inside. Like I've mentioned before we don't get chairs till the 24th and the paving is done then too. Landscaping is soon though. I'll get a pic of that when it's done. Going to be so beautiful. The community is already impressed with us.

We've had a bit of rain here the last couple of days...

The creek through the middle of Stanthorpe has been over most of the bridges, it's very full:

This bridge was barely wet, others had a few inches over them:

We don't usually get this much rain at this time of year, but it was only about 3" so it wasn't too extraordinary.

The winds were ferocious through Friday night, some places had a lot of trees down.

Although some of my family records are wrong, but if this right, then she is my GGG grandmother. She is half Native American and half German. I have  a lot to tell her in the and families in the past in the New World that I fought for their Native American heritage without a tomahawk. And she is the main cause of my beauty too.  :indian:   :drink: http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=10401139

Ray, that's really interesting. It looked like the bridge is rather low. What is winter like in your part of the world?

Dear Dustparticle, what a beautiful post! I have noticed what a good sport you are on this forum. My sons, who are half-rican, also have an ancestor who is indigenous to this continent. I have lots of info on their African roots, but not much on this relative(half native, half black - probably also GGG). I am glad you found some resources. It is difficult to search and verify indigenous persons. The only reasons I have been able to successfully find sources for my children's African ancestor is that he was in Canada and got married and had children only after completing his manumission, i.e. free black man, and could have his marriage and children's births recorded. If i can find a pic, I will upload

and I thought we could never love Satan

I think he would have one extra requirement for baptism - changing his name

I was wondering about that. Personally, I know I wouldn't be able to invite him to my home for gatherings. satan's just not welcome! :nope:

First, the bridges...

There would be six or seven like this in town. They all might go under in very heavy rain, but rarely stay under more than a day or so. At least, far enough under to prevent traffic crossing.

There is one bridge which never goes under so the town is never cut in half.

Winter is usually relatively dry, though sometimes there might be a hailstorm and possibly snow. I've been here over six years and there's been no snow in that time, two significant winter hailstorms. Temperatures get down to as low as 18°F at times, consistently morning temperatures between late May and early September are somewhere between 25°F and 35°F, daytime temperatures on a clear day would average around 55°F. Unlike many places in Australia, household heating is necessary.
