We have 3 more much bigger piles to burn off they are about 6ft (1.8m) tall.

By the looks of the stairwell, you would be starting to go upstairs starting from directly under the toilet.

I am very opposed to Roundup or other such poisons that kill grass and weeds but also kill bees and other insect life. Plus the last time it was used here, years ago, I waited to see how long it took to see the results of that 'grass killing', it took days......yup DAYS.

I have a backpack sprayer that holds 4 gallons of product. Love it. I use it so much I'm happy if I get 3 years use out of it. My grass killer is simple. Vinegar, salt and Dawn dishwashing soap. I did the whole driveway today, 2 backpack's full, big driveway. I sprayed a green driveway at 1:30, this pic was taken at 4:30!!!  The green you see next to the lawn is the grass I cut off the lawn, look at all that brown! In 3 hours it's brown. Tomorrow I could burn it off back down to the rock but it's going to be 90 degrees so I'll wait till it cools down, but TA DA I love my way of grass killing!!!!

Oh, and the power cord across the drive is from a tree that fell in February and ripped it off my house, I've been waiting for an electrician since then!

I do 2 1/2 gallons vinegar, 1 cup Kosher fine canning salt, just over 1/2 cup Dawn.

 

Take 1/2 gallon water to dissolve the salt. The water doesn't need to boil just heat up to dissolve salt that's why you use FINE salt.

In your sprayer pour in dawn first then 2 1/2 gallon vinegar then the dissolved salt.

Mix all together and you're ready to go.

 

I also did my whole 3,000 sq. ft patio- on and around, in the walkways of the garden and the fence around the garden. I wont have to do this again, because I burn it when dead, until ummmmm maybe August, well, before fall anyway.
