Anyone recognizes the location on the cover?

I think it's the first time I notice brothers without a tie in this kind of location (that is, without slippers and shorts also ;))

NO TIES on the beach! Lol ☺

I was looking through this copy yesterday. I missed the fact that the brothers on the beach were not wearing

ties.  Could that reflect a more relaxed philosophy about the preaching work where it is appropriate ? You would

look a little strange approaching strangers on a beach wearing a suit and tie. They'd probably say or at least think

" What kind of nuts are these people ? " So I appreciate having that pointed out to me.

I read the brief story on Bro. Pierce. So sad to see him die at the relatively young age of 79. That is the same

age my mother died at, but she was suffering from Dementia. So while I am deeply saddened at her passing. I am

also glad she is not longer suffering, as she did especially her last year. I am also sad about Bro. Pierce. I truly did

enjoy his hosting last years annual meeting. I think that was a blessing from Jehovah for him and for many of us

will leave lasting memories of him. I so loved that after we received our new Bibles he showed us how to twist our

Bibles back and forth to loosen the pages. And then Bro. Lett got up following him and said: " I'm not going to show

you how to twist God's Word like Bro. Pierce. That was such a hoot ! He will be missed.

I've not got a chance to read the other articles yet, except the question from readers. And that appears to be an

expanded view now of our understanding of the prophesy in Jeremiah about Rachel weeping for her sons, because

they are no more. If you have not gotten to read that yet I highly recommend it.

Well I don't think they are doing beach preaching or they took the ties off when going to talk to the surfer ;)

What caught my attention is that, besides the tie they bring a fairly formal outfit... I've seen brofhers without ties but in a contedt where the location wasn't in a city and they also were wearing shorts and/or slippers...

But hey must be overlooking to the pic :D lol

In the November Watchtower (Study Edition) the two Brothers in the picture at the top of page 7 are also NOT wearing ties - at least the one showing the shop owner the literature is NOT wearing a tie.

From all the international conventions, I'm glad to see how different cultures have different attire for meetings and ministry. We must adapt to the local culture. Also ties weren't around in 1st century friends either. Lol ☺

I say let's banish these wreched hangman's nooses and make service what it should be, mano

ey mano. Did Jesus or the apostles wear ties in service ? I rest my case.

I guess it's a matter if blending in what is considered professional/respectable in the land you're in at a particular time. Lol☺
