A Bizarre Post

Recommended Posts

This post may seem bizarre, however here it is.

Everyday we take in a lot of information into our minds and which it can be very hard on us. The information we put in the part of the mind (innermost mind) is not fully aware of, but which influences one's actions and feelings. Yes, we do things that we don't attend to do, yet we do it and we not aware of it. Sometimes we can call this imaginary behavior or acting out of your subconscious mind.

Yes, we have a subconscious mind. We take in a lot of information and somehow we can make up information that it not accurate. I happens all the time. Not only that, we do things that can harm to others in the way act or speak. Yes, this happens when we are not fully aware what is going on around us.

Take for instance, we taken in information and think others may not know it, however they do. We live on planet earth and is spins around. Right now ,the other side of the world is a day head of us. So, if a congregation get information and the friends spread it around the world, then we will get it no time. Brothers might think how do you know this since we didn't read the information yet. It is because they are NOT fully aware that the other side of this planet is a day or hours ahead of us. They know that the others side of the planet is a day of us, yet are they fully AWARE of it?

Not only this, a brother might tell you to do something and you did it and you relate to him that you did it. Since this brother is very busy and couple months later he yells at you because you did it, yet he was NOT aware that you already told him a while ago. I have experience this before. Sometimes we might say or do things because we might think it is right, yet we don't know why we do it. So in all, we live in a subconscious or a imaginary world  in which we are apart of and we play it out almost everyday.

If you go the internet and research about the subconscious mind, many of it posts leads to spiritism. Why? Because for many years when people don't understand something then they look to the unknown for the answers, hence that is when spiritism comes into play. The basic definition of subconscious is: "Part of the mind of which one is not fully aware, but which influences ones actions and feelings". No more and no less.

Huh?

LOL!! Sis, I'm glad you responded that way. I'm surprised if anyone would respond to to this post and have to be a sister too. This subject is very very often talk about. A matter of fact I brought this out to an elder, and he told me don't use that terminology too, however he was the one who yell at me for a situation year before then. Love your response sis.

Interesting meditation material, Glenn. Thanx. That subconscious, is the sum of your encounters with the world around you, your meditation < fruit> for lack of a better word. I always believed that your dreams are the brain's way of putting everything in it's proper place in your mind. Ever have a nasty scare, then wake in the middle of the night from a dream of it?

Messing around with hypnotism seems to be the new fad. It supposedly is the best way to quit smoking, and Satan is crouching at the door, just waiting for his next opportunity to strike. I truly hope none of you have someone studying, thaat has a tobacco habit. That makes them a huge target!

Well, I could have echoed Vernalee - but it would have nothing to do with the subject of the subconscious ...... it would stem from the spelling, grammar and general wondering wordiness of the post that lost me - but then, I am a Brother (whatever that has to do with it :shrugs:)

Brother Pele's in the back

Sweet Senna's in the front

Cruising down the freeway

In the hot, hot sun

Suddenly red blue lights

Flash us from behind

Loud voice

"all will please step out onto the line"

Pele breathes words of comfort

Seena just hides her eyes

Policeman taps his shades

Is that a Chevy 69?

How bizarre

How bizarre

How bizarre

Destination unknown

As we pull in for some gas

A freshly pasted poster

Reveals a smile from the pack

Elephants and acrobats,

Lions next monkey

Pele speaks righteous

Sister Seena says funky

How bizarre

How bizarre

How bizarre

Ooh baby, (ooh baby)

It's making me crazy, (it's making me crazy)

Everytime I look around

Look around

Everytime I look around

Everytime I look around

Everytime I look around

It's in my face

Ringmaster steps up

Says the elephants left town

People jump and jive

And the clowns inch back around

T.V. news and cameras

There's choppers in the sky

Marines, police, reporters

Ask the where, for and why

Pele yells "we're outta here"

Senna says "right on"

Make your moves and starting grooves

Before they knew we're gone

Jump into the Chevy

Headed for big lights,

Want to know the rest

Hey, buy the rights,

How bizarre

How bizarre

How bizarre

Ooh baby, (ooh baby)

It's making me crazy, (it's making me crazy)

Everytime I look around

Look around

Everytime I look around

Everytime I look around

Everytime I look around

It's in my face

It's in my face

Ooh baby, (ooh baby)

It's making me crazy, (it's making me crazy)

Look around

Everytime I look around

Everytime I look around

Ooh baby, (ooh baby)

It's making me crazy, (it's making me crazy)

Everytime I look around

It's in my face

THIS is a song:

It was twenty years ago today

Sergeant Pepper taught the band to play

They've been going in and out of style

But they're guaranteed to raise a smile

So may I introduce to you

The act you've known for all these years

Sergeant Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band!

We're Sergeant Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band

We hope you will enjoy the show

Sit back and let the evening go

Sergeant Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band!

It's wonderful to be here

It's certainly a thrill

You're such a lovely audience

We'd love to take you home with us

We'd love to take you home

I don't really want to stop the show

But I thought you might like to know

That the singers going to sing a song

And he wants you all to sing along

So let me introduce to you

The one and only Billy Shears

And Sergeant Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band!

Genius.

Is this because Glenn continues to use 'attend' where he means 'intend'?

HELLOOOOOO!!! TO my Brother Glen from the other side of the World.

I see your side of view I think. :) I call it for me a light bulb moment. Kinda like when I have got the point..

I think about stuff most of the time especially on a subject i might one day face in the ministry how would I handle it. etc & then a subject is brought up at the meeting the same week.

I kinda think as you do...When in a scripture it says how people will read day & night God's word & For me I have understood that to be whilst one half of the world is sleeping the rest that are awake are either preaching or teaching & reading God's word. I think its pretty amazing how it all works. Just my point of view.

"It's a known fact that eighty decibels of rushing water is one of the most pleasing sounds known to mankind. On other hand, ten and a half days at sea is enough water for anybody."

John Lennon sings the song as if he having a dream. What Paul McCarthy sings the part of the song, he sing as if he is awake and back to dreaming when John sings the concluding part. Very intersting song.

Is this a song by CCR?

No but don't worry it goes with the Theme! :D

Looking Out My Back Door Lyrics
Just got home from Illinois locked the front door oh boy!

Got to sit down take a rest on the porch

Imagination sets in pretty soon I'm singin'

Doo doo doo lookin' out my back door

There's a giant doing cartwheels a statue wearin' high heels

Look at all the happy creatures dancing on the lawn

A dinosaur Victrola list'ning to Buck Owens

Doo doo doo lookin' out my back door

Tambourines and elephants are playing in the band

Won't you take a ride on the flyin' spoon?

Doo, doo doo

Wond'rous apparition provided by magician

Doo doo doo lookin' out my back door

Tambourines and elephants are playing in the band

Won't you take a ride on the flyin' spoon?

Doo, doo doo

Bother me tomorrow, today, I'll buy no sorrow

Doo doo doo lookin' out my back door

Forward troubles Illinois, lock the front door, oh boy!

Look at all the happy creatures dancing on the lawn

Bother me tomorrow, today, I'll buy no sorrow

Doo doo doo lookin' out my back door

I never thought this post would head this way. Oh well, I have to go with the flow. Check out the lyrics by the Beatles "I'm The Walrus"

I am he as you are he as you are me
And we are all together
See how they run like pigs from a gun
See how they fly
I'm crying

Sitting on a cornflake
Waiting for the van to come
Corporation T-shirt, stupid bloody Tuesday
Man you've been a naughty boy
You let your face grow long

I am the eggman
They are the eggmen
I am the walrus
Goo goo g' joob

Mr. City policeman sitting
Pretty little policemen in a row
See how they fly like Lucy in the sky
See how they run
I'm crying
I'm crying, I'm crying, I'm crying

Yellow matter custard
Dripping from a dead dog's eye
Crabalocker fishwife
Pornographic priestess
Boy, you've been a naughty girl
You let your knickers down

I am the eggman
They are the eggmen
I am the walrus
Goo goo g' joob

Sitting in an English garden
Waiting for the sun
If the sun don't come you get a tan
From standing in the English rain

I am the eggman
("How do you do sir")
They are the eggmen
("The man maintains a fortune")
I am the walrus
Goo goo g' joob Goo Goo Goo g' joob

Expert, texpert choking smokers
Don't you think the joker laughs at you
(Ho ho ho hee hee hee hah hah hah)
See how they smile like pigs in a sty
See how they snide
I'm crying

Semolina Pilchard
Climbing up the Eiffel tower
Elementary penguin singing Hare Krishna
Man, you should have seen them kicking
Edgar Allen Poe

I am the eggman
They are the eggmen
I am the walrus
Goo goo g' joob
Goo goo goo g' joob
Goo goo g' joob
Goo goo goo g' joob
Goo goo
Juba juba juba
Juba juba juba
Juba juba juba
Juba juba

And it doesn't end here, because "juba" sounds like "smoke pot" and the background sounds like people are  saying "everybody does it". Hence altogether "Smoke  Pot, Smoke Pot, everybody does it", over and over. Also, you hear Paul McCartney in the background saying saying: "Bury My Body"

One more song: "What's The New Mary Jane" and they were high doing this too. How do I know? Look at the last seven words. John Lennon was toasted when he was doing this song and was the main one who did it and he said the last 7 words.

What's The New Mary Jane:

She looks as an African queen
She eating twelve chapattis and cream
She tastes as Mongolian lamb
She coming from out of Bahrain

What a shame Mary Jane
Had a pain at the party
What a shame Mary Jane
What a shame Mary Jane
Had a pain at the party

She like to be married with Yeti
He grooving such cooky spaghetti
She jumping as Mexican bean
To make that her body more thin

What a shame Mary Jane
Had a pain at the party
What a shame Mary Jane
What a shame Mary Jane
Had a pain at the party

She catch Patagonian pancakes
With that one and gin party makes
She having all the ways good contacts
She making with Apple an contract

What a shame Mary Jane
Had a pain at the party
What a shame Mary Jane
What a shame Mary Jane
Had a pain at the party

All together now

What a shame Mary Jane
What a shame Mary Jane
Had a pain at the party
What a shame Mary Jane
What a shame Mary Jane
Had a pain at the party

She looks as an African queen
She tastes as Mongolian lamb

What a shame Mary Jane
What a shame Mary Jane
Had a pain at the party

Altogether now

What a shame Mary Jane
Had a pain at the party
What a shame, what
What a shame Mary Jane
Had a pain at the party
What a shame
What a shame
What a shame

{That's it
Before we get taken away}

an interesting suggestion, thought provoking...

However, I think bible reference would suggest otherwise. Joshua 1:8 was written at a time when the Law only existed in that very small part of the world. Throughout the time of Jehovah's favour being upon the Hebrews they were all contained within the one 'sunrise to sunset', the bible had not travelled beyond the boundaries of their day.

But it is true that today the bible is being revealed at all hours. I often think when a meeting prayer mentions that 'this is being studied all around the world' of the time zones and how it all progresses through the 24-hour day.

Refreshment among the insistent posting of worldly song...

If your name is Alice - Do you have a Restaurant?

(I won't post the lyrics since - The song lasts 18 minutes and 34 seconds, occupying the entire A-side of the Alice's Restaurant album.)
