Is time travel possible?

There are other things too. James 1:13 tells us Jehovah “cannot be tempted by evil.” His loyalty to good is absolute.

That's also logical.

1. Definition of Evil

For any action or state (X), X is evil iff X is against God's will.

Spoiler

This means that if something is against God's will, it is evil; and conversely, if something is evil, it must be against God's will. There is no other category for evil.

2. Let's consider any arbitrary action or state, Y, such that God wills Y.

3. If God wills Y, then Y is in accordance with God's will.

Spoiler

This is a semantic truth. If an agent wills something, that thing is, by definition, willed by that agent and thus aligns with their will

4. If Y is in accordance with God's will, then Y is NOT against God's will.

Spoiler

"In accordance with" is the direct opposite (negation) of "against." These are mutually exclusive categories

5. Since Y is NOT against God's will (from 2.), and "1." defines evil only as that which IS against God's will, it logically follows that Y is NOT evil.

6. Since we established that God wills Y (2.), and we derived that Y is NOT evil (5.), it logically follows that anything God wills cannot be evil. Therefore, God cannot will evil.

:D

Or to make it shorter and simpler :

1. Evil is what is against God's will.

2. God wills Y

3. Y is not against God's will (2)

4. Y cannot be evil (1 and 2)

5. God cannot will evil.

Some view limitations to mean weaknesses or deficits. By this definition, no. Jehovah does not have any limitations.

The limitations Jehovah has placed upon himself are the result of love, wisdom, justice, and power.

Phillipians 4:8 Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are of serious concern, whatever things are righteous, whatever things are chaste, whatever things are lovable, whatever things are well-spoken-of, whatever things are virtuous, and whatever things are praiseworthy, continue considering these things.

Alguns consideram limitações como fraquezas ou deficiências. Por essa definição, não. Jeová não tem limitações.

As limitações que Jeová impôs a si mesmo são resultado de amor, sabedoria, justiça e poder.

That is why the Bible says that Jehovah is love. Jehovah has other qualities. Could he not also have bad qualities such as selfishness, pride, etc.? The answer is No! Because bad qualities are not just a matter of choice. Jehovah does not act unjustly or is disloyal because he imposed them on himself by free choice. He really does not act wrongly because he has countless good qualities, but above all, he is the very personification of love. So love in itself never leaves room for bad practices. Jehovah's love controls all his qualities and makes it impossible for him to act wickedly.

When you think of it Jehovah has allowed a lot of things from the time of Adam and Eve. Allowed Satan to exist after his rebellion.... allowed him to return to the heavens and influence others...allowed the demons to materialize as humans and allowed them to procreate are just some starters. Is it possible that Jehovah has allowed time travel for humans with the assistance of the Demons? Think about it. There are so many TV shows, movies and books about time travel. Maybe He is allowed it in certain circumstances. From 2 different sources, one whom I have great respect I have heard stories of time travel. Or is it just fiction? Who knows?

Taking a fresh look at this post, I don't think of it as something possible (or something that will delight Jehovah). It will create confusion and uncertainty. The only time travel feasible will be down memory lane. Or those that result from illusions. Take Jesus' transfiguration for example, three different timelines were brought together: Moses', Elijah's, and Jesus' times. However, only one of those exists on the Real Time Axis. The other two were visions, or illusions!

adding that Daniel and John did not travel in the future time, what they saw were in the form of visions and dreams, it was not reality but rather images pasted in their minds.
