Brothers and Sisters,

Me and a friend of mine have decided to compile a list of non-Witness sources documenting our works of Charity, not just toward our own members, but for those in the affected areas (non-Witnesses) that we mobilize to. This primarily includes our disaster relief efforts, but it includes our education as well. If this is advisable, I would request a pin to the top, since this is important, and since apostates and other opposers insist on lying to the public.

If you find anything that can contribute, please place a link here. Here is what I have so far:

From 2001:

http://www.chron.com/life/houston-belief/article/Jehovah-s-Witnesses-organize-to-repair-700-2030308.php

‘While most of the victims are fellow Witnesses, the repair effort has spread to include some families and neighbors of church members hit by Houston's most costly natural disaster”

From 2006  :

"If we were working on a roof (of a Witness), and a neighbor asked for help, we would do his roof, too."

From 2010:

http://www.dominicantoday.com/dr/poverty/2010/3/4/34997/Jehovahs-Witnesses-relief-efforts-in-Haiti-highlight-international-unity

“The cost of this Jehovah’s Witnesses’ relief work is, as always, cared for by funds donated anonymously to the Witnesses’ worldwide work.”

From 2015:

https://www.modernghana.com/news/624993/jehovahs-witnesses-offer-disaster-support.html

“The invitation is a follow up to members of the faith after initial spiritual and physical support offered by the branch office to both members and non-members affected by the deluge and inferno on June 3. Mr Gbedemah said the Witness has arranged for medical professionals to take care of people affected around the Alajo and Adabraka areas, where both Witnesses and non- Witnesses were given medical attention, including diabetics patients and other people on special medication.

April 2015:

“Jehovah’s Witnesses provide food for fellow worshippers and other disaster victims twice a day.”

From 2016

Saipan Mayor David M. Apatang, who visited one of the home-construction sites, said he was impressed by the volunteers’ work and dedication. He also lauded the church for reaching out to members of the local community who need help”

The Gary Halbert Letter

As for my recommendation.  Regardless of whether you agree with their religious beliefs or not, it is my belief (through the extensive research I have done regarding disaster relief) that the organization of Jehovah's Witnesses is going to be your best choice when the primary concern is maximizing the use of funds in the most beneficial way for victims.  Here's why."

Jehovah's Witnesses Contribute to Literacy

I am looking for more, but if you have one from a non-Witness source, please share for the benefit of all!

Although a source easily accessible through the watchtower online library this should give you help in finding key words, dates and disaster relief incidents. http://m.wol.jw.org/en/wol/d/r1/lp-e/1200274838

Micah 4:5 ......"we, for our part, shall walk in the name of Jehovah our God to time indefinite, even forever."

John 15:13 "No one has love greater than this, that someone should surrender his life in behalf of his friends."

The more, the better. I encourage all to share the post containing the links as well, that way it can been seen that people outside the organization recognize our charitable works
