Enjoyed this part very much. I remember so many older brothers sharing encouraging experiences whenever they could. I remember one brother over a quick lunch talking about how he didn't know if he'd have still have his job when he decided to go to the Convention. Turned out, he did. Or other brothers talking about spiritual things during service or while waiting in the car during RV's. Older ones can do so much with their example, even just a smile as Bro. Herd pointed out.

I just love the way this brother makes me smile in every talk I hear! He can throw humor amidst serious sentences like a pro

But look, he is old... And yet so joyfull to hear... Like no doubt many other old brothers ;)

Talks like these certainly comfort those of us who are old. We still have a lot to give Jehovah. At meetings we can encourage younger ones just by our presence.  Our experiences  can boost their ministry. We are still able to praise Jehovah in our hearts.
