As Father Josiah Trenham prepared to read the Gospel, several parishioners discreetly scooped up their babies, retreated up the aisles of St. Andrew Orthodox Church and out into the spring air, so as not to allow the crying of little ones to disturb the divine liturgy.

The time-honored tradition was shattered when a car passed by the Riverside, Calif., church, slowing down as the front passenger leaned out of his window and bellowed menacingly through a bullhorn, according to witnesses.

“Allahu Akbar!” the unidentified man repeated several times as the unnerved parents drew their infants close and exchanged worried glances.

Weird and frightening things happening everywhere it seems.  An Anglican minister has described an incident where an anti-Islam group disrupted his Sunday service as a "racist stunt" which traumatised many in his congregation.  So, these white extremists, dressed as muslims "pretended to pray while playing Muslim prayers on a loudspeaker and criticised Islam before walking out".  It seems this minister was targeted because of his support for muslims and refugees.

50 minutes ago, Your Brother said:

The brothers in our hall finally started taking the times we live in a little more seriously. We now have an Elder in the entry area, doors locked 15 minutes after start of meeting.

Yes, the brothers have been doing this in our area as well!

What is sad is that, in addition to outright terrorists, we have to contend with stupid people who think pulling pranks is funny.  If all these people did was drive by and shout a terrorist phrase that is popular on all TV and media reports, who is to say they weren't just out driving around "having fun' at the expense of others?

And that's how innocent people get killed.

Proverbs 26:18, 19 Like a madman who shoots fiery missiles, arrows, and death 19 Is the man who plays a trick on his neighbor and says, “I was only joking!”

Phillipians 4:8 Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are of serious concern, whatever things are righteous, whatever things are chaste, whatever things are lovable, whatever things are well-spoken-of, whatever things are virtuous, and whatever things are praiseworthy, continue considering these things.
