Did somebody noticed, that JW library for windows is unavailable for download from jw.org website? I prepaired files for backing up and there on jw.org is not windows version anymore...

The interesting this is, if I follow the link above (either one) it will take me to Microsoft Store website with the option to D/L JWLibrary ...

 

However, if I use the Microsoft Store app in Windows, it will take me to the JWLibrary page and give me the option to "Open" the app since I already have it installed.

 

Seems the Store app knows something the website doesn't

That is different from my attempts.  I used the download from JW.ORG, I used the URL I provided and I used the URL you provided and all of them took me to the exact same place in the Microsoft Store and the JW Library app.  And every time it just had "download" or "View in Store" as choices.  Never an "open" choice.

 

I do have the app loaded on my computer.

Yes, the links in those posts took me to the same as you ... however, I was also referring to the Microsof Store  app in Windows you access with this icon . There is no URL for the link in the app

The top one is the actual store app and the other is the website for the store. The website cannot see what is actually installed on your computer like the store app can. So far what is you have shown is exactly how its supposed to work. 

 

What are you trying to accomplish?

Then we were discussing the difference of using the website and/or the store app - and you are right ... this is how it is designed to work.
