The breaking news is on my iPhone 7 but not on my iPad mini.

That may be because internet access is disabled on your ipad mini.

I had "settings/offline mode" checked on my android phone so it wasn't showing the breaking news.

On unchecking offline mode, the breaking news appeared.

I wonder if the older KMs are next...

That is what I am wondering! I just checked Awakes..they are all there now! Also, has anyone noticed the publications referenced list of the Research Guide includes some older books and brochures we now have in our JWL app?😎

Watchtowers are back to 1970..hopefully, we will get back to 1950..I appreciate the hard work of all the brothers and sisters working with "HUB" to upgrade our JWL app! :crush:

I was told the goal is for all three major platforms to have the same material. Also, putting Index on JW Library is a lot of work...

I’d also like an improved search feature across all publications, which might also include publications not on my device. And for my markings to show in the study pane.

I'd like to be able to put the publications on a separate drive like the media. Cloud storage would interesting...

So true! It is amazing how iSilo has the full library to 2013, but uses a tiny amount of storage. Until our JWL app has an index, I will use iSilo when unable to access WOL online. Some 1958 Watchtowers I found really helped us through an ongoing trial. Our app is wonderful! I love  the Study NWT with gems, videos, and audio, and being able to download articles..or stream them and have them read, not to mention the music!:coffee:

iSilo is is a grey legal area. Hence I have always preferred to use the official apps with their limitations. The JWPUB format is quite versatile, hence the size. It’s only text, but also layout. It also has a feature that allows the app ti check the validity of the publication. At the moment the WOL works fine for searching. Also, the JW.org site has a great search feature.

I agree..Our tablets are offline, so iSilo is available for our tablets..only sometimes for research. Now with the Watchtowers in our app, I won't need iSilo very often, except maybe the index...for now..😉

The index I have in iSilo only goes to 2013 so doesn't have a lot of important new information.

But I think I will keep iSilo for now because if I delete it all my icons will move. Such is the  experience!

Not sure if this is related but copying and pasting a link in Safari has been broken for me on iPadOS for months. (Share Sheet / Copy). I reported it in Beta.

I have to poke the address field several times until I can Select All, then Copy.

Why not just click on “open in WOL” or “open in JW.ORG

In safari tap adress bar once, and twice. Second time it will offer share and copy..

I stab it with my Pencil until a menu pops up! I think I’m doing it too quickly.

Think this article too old to link to jw.org currently....newer articles work

that may be true but WOL goes back to 1950.

But I think share link functionality from JW LIBRARY App goes to jw.org not wol...I will wait a week or two to see if the functionality becomes activated...May be a coding/programming eventuality..

For my congregation's Monday mid week meeting, of which I wasn't able to attend, my assistant told me that JW library wouldn't work after numerous attempts (about 20 to 30 mins.) to reboot the windows os. He had to use the older soundbox  application for media services. I hope that the problem will be resolved and/or investigated so it will be just a temporary glitch.

Just a heads up to all congregation media services brothers.

"there was Jehovah’s word for him, and it went on to say to him: “What is your business here, E·lijah?" To this (Elijah) he said: “I have been absolutely jealous for Jehovah the God of armies"- 1 Kings 19:9, 10 Reference Bible
