Ukrainian priests loyal to Russian Orthodox Church, might be hunted and persecuted

A Ukrainian MP called for ‘hunting’ down and ousting all priests loyal to the Russian Orthodox Church, contrary to promises they won’t be persecuted. It came after Kiev proclaimed its own church to be independent from Moscow.

I would not trust RT at all. It is the Kremlin's propaganda mouthpiece. It often twists things to the Kremlin's advantage. Besides, both Russian and Ukrainian churches are extensions of their respective national governments. The church issue has become part of nasty politics between the two countries.

It's things like this which will build up the destruction of BTG. If all the these churches start out right arguing and persucuting, eventually the government will just say "alright, enough is enough, we've had enough religous wars, you're ALL going down".

The Russian Orthodoxy is part of Russian nationalism. Russian priests even bless nuclear bombs and other kinds of weapons. 

 

It is often said that Orthodoxy is the harshest form of "Christianity" while Russian Orthodoxy is the harshest form of Orthodox "Christianity". Some even describe Russian Orthodoxy as "Christian Taleban".

I have just googled "Russian priests are blessing weapons" and looked at the pictures. It is amazing that they have even blessed an intercontinental nuclear missile called SS‐18 Satan. 😱
