Qantas QF94 - how media reports news

Together with my wife we were some of those "stranded" passengers on cancelled flight from LA -Melbourne https://www.3aw.com.au/rumour-confirmed-qantas-leaves-passengers-stranded-after-multiple-cancellations/

Media reported this in "semi-sensational" manner, somehow negative event,  but does not report that we were accommodated in Hilton Hotel Downtown, plus all food and drinks paid by Qantas

Also we had day fun, visiting Beverly Hills, Hollywood and St.Monica Pier...

What is reported on the media is often exaggerated and very sensational....judge by he photos if this stranded condition was so bad  LOL  ( BTW food and drinks at Hilton were great)

Met some nice sisters on the Carts at the Pier as well .....

 

World focuses on negatives so much ... personally I think as "stranded" passengers we had great fun!

I like making “the best out of bad situations” 

Why focusing on negatives ... we were stuck anyway, couldn’t change that ... so we have decided to enjoy it. 

Most people were angry and abusive towards Qantas stuff.... we just followed directions.

Yes, I couldn’t find good donut shop in Beverly Hills... instead the area was saturated with useless brands like Gucci and Prada .... ,

I was hoping to see “Donuts by Gucci” .....left LA disappointed LOL
