Kim Jong Un: K-pop is a ‘vicious cancer’ that merits work camp, execution.

Young North Koreans think they owe nothing to Kim Jong Un,” said Jung Gwang-il, a North Korean defector who smuggles K-pop into his former motherland. “He must reassert his ideological control on the young if he doesn’t want to lose the foundation for the future of his family’s dynastic rule.”

This is an expected but interesting statement...

If NK's government was overthrown and became a demorcracy, or something similar to other nations, and with that the rise of rights, Western influence, etc, that could very well pump up the notion of P&S. And it could spur on other neighbouring nations.

NK seems to be a house of cards in a way. I've always wondered if we'll see it fall before the end, but it's hard to imagine it's allies letting that slide.

If Kim dies or is permanently incapacitated, North Korea faces a daunting challenge. His grandfather and father both nominated and promoted clear successors from among their many children, whereas the young dictator is unlikely to have designated an heir—and the oldest of his reputed three children is just about 10. There may be no worse political snake pit than Pyongyang, and the sudden loss of Kim as supreme leader could cause a political vacuum. The question of who could step in and take over is now paramount.

There might be a big shake-up if or when Kim is no longer in office.  That could cause some fractures.

Phillipians 4:8 Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are of serious concern, whatever things are righteous, whatever things are chaste, whatever things are lovable, whatever things are well-spoken-of, whatever things are virtuous, and whatever things are praiseworthy, continue considering these things.

Quite the totalitarian cult leader isn't he.

Honestly, NK is a laughing stock. It's like they have to be bigger and better than everyone, and they try to achieve it in the stupidest ways.

For example, they tell the people that hamburgers were invented by the Kim Jongs, and were "stolen" by America, and the same goes for so many other things.

Another example, you see all those medals on the uniforms of their military leaders?

main-qimg-2cdd7c2bed02556dd0e07cc900c5a1

They are not earned through genuine grand accolades like they are in other nations, NK doesn't even send their soldiers to war afterall, but they are given for very silly reasons (such as: eating Kim Jong's favorite food, giving the best compliment to Kim Jong that day, who can cry the best in honour of Kim Jong, beating up civilians...  no I'm not joking about these, they are real and documented).

This the reason why they have so many medals, and they do that is so they can arbitrarily "look better" than the military of other nations, ie; "look how many medals our generals have! Yours don't have that many, this means our soldiers are better than yours!"

Now to us it may seem obvious on the outside that they are trying to play a game of "my dad is better than your dad", but it's really to control the people on the 'inside', the way the medals and awards are earned encourages worship of the Kims, and because they are so cut off from society, their leaders can tell them, and the populace anything they want and draw false comparisons to other nations to spin the story to the people, creating a false sense of superiority, ie, they are trying too hard to "look cool", but it just makes them look like the ultimate wannabes.

Every little thing they do is to create an internal image. Cut off the access to outside knowledge, whilst feeding the false stories with bent facts. NK is literally a nationalised cult.
