Nice one too, I need something bit bigger as we have many tree around Kingdom Hall, so proper mini chainsaw will come handy for those odd jobs. I am getting also mini blower (workshop version) 

Question: How thick branches does it cut? How easy is to change a blade?

I bought some 9 inch blades and I used it to remove a tree stump. The blades were able to cut the large roots very easily. Changing blades is very quick and simple.

I am so happy to start this topic, I will go to the store and check the tools in person.

Very open to change my mind from a chainsaw...hmmm

...and it does not require whearing chaps (PPE) and does not kick back like a chainsaw.

If you are into woodworking I have found this guy to have a very good and entertaining channel. He has some clever designs and makes things anyone could make if they just take the same care he does. He has a nice sense of humor and does not fill his videos with undesirable language.

We built and used a rocket stove heater in our basement for about a year. They are handy for fast heating.

Depending on the level of trees you need to prune, and what other plants you need to prune, having the right tool for the right job always makes the job easier.

 

I have plenty purchased of tools and equipment over the years and looked after them, and I do have a collection and they all get used (especially when you do live on acreage).
