It can mean that a chain of events is now set in motion which ends with ARMAGEDDON. I say this explicitly in the subjunctive.  We all want it so much, almost with all our hearts. But we must be careful not to let our deep desires overwhelm us. Armageddon comes at the right time!

Israel has fought several wars with Hezbollah since at least 1982, during the Lebanese Civil War. They also fought another major war in 2006.

Hamas since 2007 or so has continually fired rockets and missiles at nearby Israeli settlements, they had major spats in 2009, 2014, and 2021, with several skirmishes in between.

Every time the terrorist groups mount an attack, Israel constantly retaliates, the Palestinians get riled up at the attacks, and then THEY retaliate. The cycle begins all over again.

Hamas and Hezbollah are committed to the destruction of Israel, while Israel is likewise devoted to destroying these terrorist organizations. Every time there is a “truce” each side frequently breaks the “peace” and skirmishes. Things escalate, and the whole thing explodes again.

So will this ceasefire hold? I’ll believe it when I see it. The animosity between Jew and Arab is too virulent for me to believe that it will, imo. But that’s just my opinion.

Does this truly mean the war is ending, though? They've made agreements with other groups, like Hezbollah, that didn't end the entire conflict. I wonder if it will still spread to the rest of the Middle East.

Only when Jehovah ends wars once and for all…

True, right motive of excitement can make us more positive.

Israel’s minister of national security Itamar Ben Gvir says his party will withdraw from Israel’s governing coalition if the Israel-Hamas ceasefire and hostage deal goes through.

“This deal teaches them (Hamas) that they can take hostages and attack, and at the end of the day, they can get what they want,” he said in a news conference Thursday.

Ben Gvir, a member of the far-right Otzma Yehudit (Jewish Power) party, threatened to resign earlier this week over the deal. He has also called on Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich to join him. Smotrich is a member of another far-right party, the Religious Zionism Party.

Some context: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu needs the support of both parties in parliament to keep his coalition from collapsing.

If Ben Gvir’s party, with its six legislative seats, leaves the governing coalition, Netanyahu still holds onto a narrow majority. But, if Smotrich’s party also withdraws its seven seats from the coalition, it will topple Netanyahu’s government.

I suppose we can believe there is a cease fire when we actually see it, eh?

Plan ahead as if Armageddon will not come in your lifetime, but lead your life as if it will come tomorrow (w 2004 Dec. 1 page 29)

It would be a folly for Hamas to break it as they are in a very weakened position practically without support from Iran or Hezbollah...but folly is the word for this crazy system ... so lets see how this develops ....

Peaceful and safe = Peace and security. THIS IS IT BROTHERS!!!  (eventually _ lol)

Time to enter into our inner rooms…

1 Kings 22:24,25
24 Zed·e·kiʹah the son of Che·naʹa·nah now approached and struck Mi·caiʹah on the cheek and said: “Which way did the spirit of Jehovah pass from me to speak with you?” 25 Mi·caiʹah replied: “Look! You will see which way on the day when you will enter the innermost room to hide.”

Isaiah 26:20

20 Go, my people, enter your inner rooms, And shut your doors behind you. Hide yourself for a brief moment Until the wrath has passed by.

If USA has the will … it may create the path for a weak peace solution.

US has the power and money and leverage to pressure other nations to follow that path.
