Peace and Security, Great Tribulation, Armageddon

I didn't realize how long it takes to get marines in place ...

Quote

Thousands of U.S. Marines are slated to arrive in the Middle East on Friday, according to two U.S. officials, the day President Trump has set as the deadline for Iran to reopen the Strait of Hormuz. The Japan-based amphibious assault ship USS Tripoli, the amphibious landing dock USS New Orleans and roughly 2,200 Marines from the 31st Marinc Expeditionary Unit will cross into U.S. Central Command, which is responsible for U.S. forces in the Middle East, on Friday, the officials said. It would take another few days for the unit to get to the Strait of Hormuz.

Thousands of Marines to Arrive in Centcom the Same Day as Trump’s Iran Deadline https://share.google/12wLSJzIcXkOHhrLl

It will still take a few days once near there to be in position - so, Monday or Tuesday of next week. This thing is definitely going into extra innings.

You are 100% correct.

I’ve seen some brothers here talking about the war between Russia and Ukraine, and you can tell they really hate Russia, like it’s the villain.

But is that really how a Christian should behave—taking sides like that? Saying one side is good and the other is bad?

For Christians, there shouldn’t be any difference between Russia and Ukraine. The same goes for countries like the USA, China, or the Philippines, none of them are better than the others.

All human governments stand in opposition to Jesus’ Kingdom and are described in the Bible as beasts.

It’s one thing to share news about what’s happening in places like the USA, Iran, Russia, or China. But it’s another thing to start rooting for one country over another. Even if a place treats people, or even fellow believers, badly, we still shouldn’t take sides or support one nation over another.

I even saw a brother comment here, after quoting a Bible text, ending his message with: ‘Brave Ukraine!’” I imagine him dressed in clothing with a Ukrainian flag logo, with a flag flying in his front yard.
After Sunday's preaching to the people, Daniel 2:44

For those of us who are Americans, Russia has been "the enemy" in popular culture here for decades, since the 1980s and even before when the Space Race began in the 1950s. They have also persecuted Jehovah's people for decades.

In the war, Russia is clearly the one acting aggressively. Nobody in Ukraine, including their government officials, wanted a war until boots were on the ground and missiles in the air.

It's like Putin is trying to piece together the old USSR.

Our president in Philippines has declared a national state of emergency.

Oil reserved will run out in 45 days.

Lpgas will run out in 23 days.

Speaking of which! S.Korea just imposed a vehicle usage restriction to save on the usage of barrels of oil. Can you imagine if this happens in many regions? Going back on Zoom in waves because we're restricted? That would be wild. Half the congregation show up because they can now use their car while the other half has to stay home.

What "appears" to be happening and the driving allowance criteria:

SEOUL, March 24 (Korea Bizwire) — South Korea will tighten enforcement of a vehicle rationing system for public-sector employees as it braces for potential oil supply disruptions stemming from prolonged tensions in the Middle East, the climate ministry said Tuesday, signaling a broader shift toward emergency energy conservation measures.

Beginning Wednesday, authorities will step up oversight of a five-day rotation scheme that restricts driving based on the final digit of a vehicle’s license plate, effectively barring each group from the road one weekday.

According to this the restriction is for public-sector (or government) employees and there will be one day they are restricted from driving.

Phillipians 4:8 Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are of serious concern, whatever things are righteous, whatever things are chaste, whatever things are lovable, whatever things are well-spoken-of, whatever things are virtuous, and whatever things are praiseworthy, continue considering these things.

The more I think about it, it does. Oil and Gas are "hidden" treasures (you need to dig a lot) :D

Daniel further says: “He [the king of the north] will actually rule over the hidden treasures . . . and over all the desirable things of Egypt. And the Libyans and the Ethiopians will be at his steps.” (Daniel 11:43) This may refer to natural resources; and the modern “king of the north” does control territories with an abundance of mineral resources, including oil. He also has strong influence in territories outside his domain that have rich natural resources. All of us have reason to watch with interest whether he will get greater control of these and how far his economic influence will reach.

Regarding the current conflict with Iran i see no way out. This country will stop at nothing because it is a religious ideology, this regime only knows the fist, and anyone that dies is martyrdom.

They have prepared for this for years with there underground missile stockpiles, apparently they have five underground missile cities. There is no reasoning with religious extremism.

And we know this when we meet a born again at the door, there is no reasoning with them.

I feel there is just going to be a endless amounts of  bombs dropped and more pain at the gas station.

It's interesting though where are we in the streams of time concerning peace and security.

I should know better by now in reading into news events and deduceing where does this lead us.

The one thing ringing in my ear at the moment is security, everyone around the world relies on fuel to carry out mankind's basic needs.

And that indeed is security for the world.

I can't wait until this is all over as I am a carpenter in a regional area having to travel to work, and everytime I drive past a petrol station I try not to look at the prices.

PROJECT GREAT ISRAEL.

The concept of "Greater Israel" is rooted in certain interpretations of Zionist ideology, which assert that the biblical promised land extends from the Nile River in Egypt to the Euphrates River in Iraq.

Countries Included: It typically encompasses all of Palestine, Jordan, Lebanon, and significant parts of Syria, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt (the Sinai Peninsula).
The design is rooted in a maximalist interpretation of the "Promised Land" from biblical texts (Genesis 15:18).

They believe that Jehovah promised them all those lands, that the lands belong to them.

Recent images of Israeli soldiers wearing a "Greater Israel" patch on their uniforms have circulated online, sparking international controversy. These patches depict a map that extends far beyond Israel's current borders, reflecting a vision held by some far-right and religious Zionist groups.

Are you referring to the US or Iran?

Remember that a lot of evangelical Christians in the US believe in the rapture and also believe that Armageddon will happen somewhere on middle eastern soil.

Just ignore the times Jehovah warned Israel to not expand its borders.

(Deuteronomy 2:4, 5) 4 And give this command to the people: “You will pass by the border of your brothers, the descendants of Eʹsau, who are dwelling in Seʹir, and they will be afraid of you, and you must be very careful. 5 Do not engage in hostilities with them, for I will not give you any of their land, not even the space of a footprint, because I have given Mount Seʹir to Eʹsau as his possession.

https://www.jw.org/finder?wtlocale=E&pub=nwtsty&srctype=wol&bible=5002005&srcid=share

(Deuteronomy 2:9) 9 Jehovah then said to me, ‘Do not engage in hostilities or in war with Moʹab, for I will not give you any of his land as a possession because I have given Ar as a possession to the descendants of Lot.

https://www.jw.org/finder?wtlocale=E&pub=nwtsty&srctype=wol&bible=5002009&srcid=share

(Deuteronomy 32:8) 8 When the Most High gave the nations their inheritance,

When he divided the sons of Adam from one another,

He fixed the boundary of the peoples

With regard for the number of the sons of Israel.
