another instance of irredentism

A new word!   Thanks!   Seems a lot of cultures could have a case for irredentism, given how "lands" have changed hands over the millennium.

The story about Roosevelt, Churchill and Stalin "carving up" Europe after WW2 comes to mind.

"To the victor go the spoils"

Iran-backed Houthis join war with attack against Israel

The entry of the powerful Iranian proxy into the conflict raises fears of further disruption to the world economy as the armed group has capacity to attack shipping in the Red Sea.

I wonder how Trump feels about the can of worms he has opened as this mess expands.

Ordinary people suffer because of the war.

Phillipians 4:8 Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are of serious concern, whatever things are righteous, whatever things are chaste, whatever things are lovable, whatever things are well-spoken-of, whatever things are virtuous, and whatever things are praiseworthy, continue considering these things.

U.S. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth prayed for "overwhelming violence of action against those who deserve no mercy" during a religious service at the Pentagon.

The Christian worship service, held on Wednesday for workers at the Pentagon, was Hegseth's first since the beginning of the Iran War earlier this month, according to The Associated Press.

"Let every round find its mark against the enemies of righteousness and our great nation," Hegseth said during the service. "Give them wisdom in every decision, endurance for the trial ahead, unbreakable unity and overwhelming violence of action against those who deserve no mercy."

Cool, it's a holy war now. Just like the Crusades.

Jehovah can notice that these so called religions promote wars.. As a result, he will get rid of it first.

Not just him; many people are growing tired of evangelical Christianity in the US. Religion hasn't been banned yet, but it's not hard to see how and why it could happen.
