So.... are you saying that Rev 16:14 "expressions inspired by demons and they perform signs" is referring to the announcement of P & S before the GT begins?

 

I understand your reasoning about the unclean expressions - but the nations believing that these unclean expressions have the backing of God doesn't necessarily mean that religion needs to still be around. Religious institutions will go, not people's beliefs and ideologies. Many may still believe in "God" right up until they "will have to know" that he is Jehovah.

These unclean inspired expressions begin with a veneer of P&S  (accompanied by signs and wonders), the puppet master Satan uses religion to make people think they have the backing of God.

The same expressions go on to gather the kings of the earth to Armageddon... at this stage though, without religion, because Jehovah, by this time, has put it into their hearts to do away with religion once and for all.

Then we are left with the Kings of the earth incensed at Jehovah’s people because not only are they living in peace, but they are actually prospering. (I'm wondering with the new clarification that 'propsering' is all those turning to Jehovahs people like last weeks wt talked about??) About this time, the remnant will be taken to heaven, and the kings touch Jehovahs and Jehovah steps in and finishes it.
