why are we quoting AI ?

As I understand it, AI responses are aggregators of whatever is out there on the internet on any given topic (text sources only I believe) with a language modeling processor for the results of the question. I'm assuming it filters out duplicate information as it pulls from many sources.

Reading through the AI answer to the question regarding what the UN could achieve given more power from the member states all sounds pretty common sense to me. Basically the UN could accomplish more of its goals for world peace and security. Seems religion in general will become more and more out of step with the UN's long-term goals (they refer to these goals as SDG's Sustainable Development Goals).

What's interesting to me is the more concerted effort being made to give the UN as an institution more 'teeth' (e.g. seeking greater 'emergency authority' and the idea of addressing the current stalemate of the makeup of the 5-nation veto power for the UN Security Council—which is basically the thinking of the KotN form of governing (authoritarian-style: Russia/China) v. KotS ideas of governing (democratic-style: US/UK and France). Those five nations were the top-dog nations after WWII ended.

The broadcast was super duper! Jehovah's name will be vindicated and his right to rule coming our way.  Meantime, we work on ourselves, and keep busy finding those Jehovah sends our way, whether door to door, informal, cart work, whatever Avenue or circumstances allow.  Am excited despite all our trials.

reduced age  # for ske and construction builder in the AM.

Looks like we are ramping up. There are more work to do and we need mooorrrre  volunteers.

Imagine,  billions will be resurrected.

These young people have to step up quickly.

And a challenge to older ones as well... they have to be good examples to young people , not the other way around.. Just my thoughts.

The world will still be in a state such that most people will carry on with their normal lives and concerns, just like Noah's day. We do not need to look, expect, or hope for ultimate chaos for this to come to an end.

Agreed. We don't need any more information about world conditions than we already have to know what Jehovah wants us to do.

I just found this out. I was going to come on here and mention it, but I figured someone already did. The UN may be about to get some teeth. We’re getting closer and closer!

I used to think based on developments that 2030 would be a pivotal year. Not that the end would come in that year, but that it would have a lot to do with developments that lead to the end later on, if this system lasts that long. Now I no longer feel that way because of things that were discussed in this year’s annual meeting (if you would like details, see the 2024 annual meeting spoiler thread).

Now I think the end could come before. Whether it comes before or after, I will still focus on proving faithful and making disciples, although this has been my resolve all along. Focusing too much on recent developments causes us, or at least me, to lose focus.

The Hebrew word cushi or kushi is an affectionate term generally used in the Bible to refer to a dark-skinned person of African descent.

The Latter-Day Saints have issued a statement that they are neutral on political elections.

Wouldn't it be interesting if every religion did the same thing?

Can you imagine every religion joining us and saying they are neutral and won't vote?

On one hand saying they’re neutral, then also:

  1. The church also reiterates itsencouragement for members “to be active citizens by registering, exercising their right to vote, and engaging in civic affairs, always demonstrating Christlike love and civility in political discourse.”

I'd say in alot of countries people are just carrying on with their normal lives ,Australia for instance, majority acting like there is no stresses or wars in the world. Consumerism rules here. Happiness Freedom GIF by retailTRUST
