So many faithful have died that I think the first words we will hear them say when they are resurrected will be "What year is it? When did Jehovah's Day begin?"

I have noticed, that many of the older ones who have now passed were extremely eager to watch Armageddon and Jehovah's vengeance come to pass, down to the exact details.

Those of us who are still here are no longer concerned about seeing exactly how it happens, just waiting (im)patiently for the new system to be here. 

 

It makes me think that maybe there's a personality trait nowadays that will help get us through the hard times without getting stressed about the details. Obviously this is just my personal musings 😊

It's the many reminders from Jehovah's organization to be patient and focus on the preaching work that help us get through the hard times without getting stressed. The more we focus on showing love to others, the less concerned we are about ourselves.

Nice to get your viewpoint, but, nope, speaking as one who 'has been around a long time,' this could not be further from the truth.  Very interested in seeing exactly how it happens and all acquaintances in my 'age group' likewise! We've been waiting for it for a long time.

I didn't mean to speak quite so broadly as I did, as I can only speak for my local area. 

I do see this in every age group in my area, though the last two congregations I've been in (merged so almost like one congregation really) have faced more health issues than I've seen in any other previous congregations, which *may* lend itself to this thinking. 

Again, purely conjecture on my part.

 

I've put it into the words:

I have no doubt it (Jehovah's day) will happen, I'm just not too worried about seeing it happen (or how).

I think what I mean to say is:

The older ones I remember from years ago were deeply interested in seeing the "vengeance" part of it, that I've noticed has dropped off

Who knows!  The slave did say lots of changes would start happening!  They included worldwide.

What ever way it does go, no one can stop Rev 17:12, 13, and 16.

Exactly, love this. The slave says follow directions even if it doesn't make sense. Well they'll (politicians) carry out HIS thought if it doesn't make sense to us too right? Definitely, sit back and grab your popcorn.

This means that US won’t support “worthless” organizations in the State point of view.

any organization that isn’t aligned with US interests and values will not be financed or supported anymore.

UN it self is under scrutiny as well since Triump said he no longer will finance it untill UN is reformed to fully fullfill its inicial goals: to maintain peace and security

I remind you all that US funded the 1919 nations society (league) - the first UN version, yet US was NOT part of it. This institution without US support was “buried “ in 1945 giving place to the nowadays UN.

Without US support ( like Rev chapter 13 shows ) UN CANT exist.
